7/10Food fresh and large potions. Service very slow took a while to order drinks and waited even longer to receive them and didn't get what we ordered. The food was really nice and great value.

10/10Great Italian restaurant. Well balanced anti primi and secundi plates. Great wine list. I can recommend the Branzano and the carpacio di trufo delicious. Bon Apetito

8/10Quiet restaurant with good food and friendly, attentive staff. Great for a low key meal with friends or colleagues. Owner and chef are Italiano and if you allow them they will gladly point you toward excellent specialties on the menu.

10/10Good experience and no major issues. The food is good quality and I would think is good value for Monte Carlo. Nice to get a discount and they booked us a taxi when we finished too. Happy to recommend.

4.5/10I was very disappointed in our visit to Marcello. We arrived and I thought it was a beautiful restaurant. The service was quite disappointing. It could be partly because they only had two waiters and only one spoke english so the non-english speaking waiter would not come over to help us. The other literally only came to take our drinks and food order (at the same time), to deliver the salad, then to drop off the food and we didn't see him for over 30 minutes after that. My wife ordered the sliced roast chicken and asparagus. It was fine nothing great. The asparagus were way over cooked. I ordered the rigatoni with shrimp and asparagus. It was quite gross. The shrimp was cut into small pieces and raw. The flavor of the whole dish was like raw shrimp. I took two bites and could not stomach eating any more. I waited for the waiter and tried to get his attention but he never came. Finally the non-english speaking waiter came over and took our dishes. Didn't ask how it was despite picking up a completely full plate that did not look as though it was even touched. 10 minutes later I was able to flag down the other waiter and he asked how everything was and I told him horrible and no one ever came over to see how my food was when it was on the table. He apologized and offered a free dessert. I said no thank you, just the check please. He still brings out a small tiramisu and the check. Of course they didn't make any accomodations on the dish that was horrible and uneaten. It was bad enough that the food was not good but the service was just as bad. I understand when there is a problem with the food but when the server doesn't do anything to remedy it that is when I get frustrated. This restaurant has numerous good reviews so my experience might be a rare occurrence but I personally would not ever go back.
