This was a lovely restaurant I didn't know about. The wait staff were really lovely and the food was nice. The retaurant was well appointed. Be aware there is a surcharge of 15% on public holidays.

Salmon steak was tasty and well-cooked. Service was friendly, accomodating, attentive and great. Cozy, comfortable ambience with the wood fire on. Happy hour from 5pm-8pm is fantastic. Overall, a good meal. Thanks!

Wonderfully warm service and fresh great tasting food. I had the calamari salad which was amazing and my friend had the beef brisket - both portion sizes were perfect and we both loved our dishes. Drinks were well priced (and we loved a happy hour G&T). Thanks to Anna our waitress - professional, attentive and engaging.

Comfortable space in a booth to catch-up with a friend and enjoy a drink and a choice from the menu. The Spicy Cauliflower was delicious and we had an affogato for dessert

I arrived in Happy Hour and the waiter was so helpful to ensure I could enjoy a drink at Happy Hour prices. I was seated in a booth which was lovely when you are on your own as you feel like you have your own little zone. I chose the Spicy Cauliflower and it was delectable and beautifully presented. There was room for some ice-cream too! The service was attentive but not intrusive. I will come again!

Nice little restaurant in the ground floor of Doubletree by Hilton. What’s not to like about a fireside table on a chilly night? We took advantage of happy hour prices for wines by the glass & then shared the special of cauliflower croquettes & a sirloin steak. We added a rocket salad & chips. All were well cooked. Small menu, one chef in the kitchen. Staff were running the bar also & did well to manage both. It wasn’t busy, a Sunday night.

The reservation process was smooth, the customer service was also very good and the manage Chris gave us excellent service through night. They accommodated us coming in earlier to decorate the table for an 18th birthday, they accommodated the food requirements by adjusting some meals to vegetarian options and overall everyone enjoyed the food, the ambience, service, drinks and company. If you're looking for a small intimate place to enjoy your celebration with privacy, this is the place.

Fantastic location. Nicely decorated and set up. A high ceiling makes it feel spacious whilst dining and not too noisy. Had chicken burger and Korean chicken wings. Burger was ok - average quality. As for the Korean wings - go to the Korean restaurant :) The cocktails were pretty good though. May not return for foods, but for a quick drink - sure!

The only blemish my date and I noticed was the lack of sauces available with the steaks. Apart from that the rest of the food we had ordered was really nice. Chicken skewers were a massive hit!

The restaurant is situated in the lobby of Double Tree hotel, ambience was fine considering it was a Tuesday evening, we just wanted somewhere local to meet after work and relax. Burger was good too.

Came here during the Fork Festival. Was intrigued by not knowing this place existed and was right across from Flinders Street station. Good for groups and decent food. The sharing plates were too small, suggesting that this place doesn't encourage sharing dishes. We enjoyed the grill special, the wagyu steak. The ribs were very soft but the bao served with it was so hard that it was almost inedible. Service was mostly attentive though it was quiet night with not many tables. I would have preferred there be more regular water service or to leave the water jug at the table for us to serve ourselves.

Great atmosphere, good service. - 750g ribs were soft and tender, and it came with mint leaves, pickles, pears and baos that you can DIY your meal. However, there were small crushed bones (from the rib I assume) in the meat which is annoying when you kept biting on something hard. - lamb pasta was flavourful, the tomato base is rich, along with pine nuts and feta cheese. We had high expectation from this restaurant and they surely didn’t disappoint us, we would be back!

Great menu, so many options I wanted to try. Plenty of steak options. Service a little slow with drinks, but otherwise great dining experience. Restaurant setup reasonably quiet which was great to be able to hear conversations.
