We had a lovely meal on New Years Eve day. the service was fantastic and it was very busy with a great atmosphere. The food was great especially the Chargrilled octopus. overall 10/10 experience. Some restaurants in Cancale can be slightly stuffy towards children however at The Plouf they where very welcoming to our little one and interacted with him and let him practise his French.

Modern dining offering really good food, stunning design and materials; however, there are simply no service standards. Unpolished glasses with lipstick on the table, wine served with some cork segments, when serving main knife, the waitress has polished it with her finger just in front of the guest which is inappropriate.. Small details like these leave a huge impression sometimes.. Overall, it was a one time visit for us. Probably during the summer there might be more ambience..
