    The gumbo was good but dessert is what made the experience worth it. Their desserts aren't on the menu as they apparently change often but the red velvet cake I had was incredibly good. Will definitely be returning for coffee and dessert some day.

    The sandwich is really tasty, highly recommended. But on the contrary the service is not the best, when we entered the restaurant, the waitress looked at us as if we are intruders, cold look and no smile at all. She pointed us a corner saying: you can seat there. But when there were other customers entering the salon, she was smiling and calling their names so I understood that they were regulars. My boyfriend that day had stomach problems so he didnt order anything, after a while the waitress came to ask him if she could do anything for him, bring him hot water or anything else. So I could see that she was friendly in the end or maybe this is her character that she is not warm to strangers at first. I really like the food so I would like to leave a piece of small advice that: in service industry first impression is very important, give a smile and make customers feel welcome is basic and key especially for an American restaurant in a hip area of Paris.

    We ordered the gumbo yaya. it was written on the menu that smoked sausages and gombos come with the dish.... when we got our dish, no sign of smoked sausages and gombos... the waiter told us that all these things are melt together in the sauce.. and the sauce were no really spicy..they should have mentionned it more precisely on the menu. we were a little bit disappointed... the black angus beef debris sandwich were very tasty and the desserts were not too sweet so it was great ! next time we will come to taste the pork sandwich.
