10/10Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Octopus salad from the regular menu was very good, but my absolute favourite was in the specials of the day: bacalhau à brás (cod, onions and thinly chopped fried potatoes, bound with eggs). We also tried garlic shrimp and veal cheek stew - basically every dish was amazing. Very fresh ingredients cooked to perfection.

10/10We had a great dinner/evening at Popina. It started with an impromptu wine tasting of several white and verde wines and ended with chocolate mousse with orange. We ordered 4 dishes to share as our mains, which was just the right amount of food and tasted great. Our favorite dish of the evening was the roasted pork neck. We will definitely be returning here

10/10It was just lovely! Totally random discovery when looking for a restaurant near Neonia and our apartment. We initially sat outside but the noise etc wasn’t really conducive to a romantic evening so we moved inside and it was so cool and pretty. The food was outstanding and the owner was really talkative and helpful. Couldn’t be more pleased with finding this place.

10/10Lovely little restaurant with excellent food! I got the cod fritters and rice stewed with tomatoes and peppers and both were delicious. Was a good place for solo travelers too—accommodated a solo reservation and two small plates were plenty for one person. Service was attentive and very friendly. Restaurant is decorated very nicely too, which is an added plus. Really a nice place to enjoy a meal whether by yourself or with others.
