9.5/10We have visited this restaurant on numerous previous occasions and will certainly be coming back. It never disappoints. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. Very good price.

9.5/10Excellent food both Portuguese and international. I ate a tasty monkfish cataplana, the best eaten in Portugal. In the dining room the staff is welcoming and truly professional. Very well

10/10We are always greeted by the friendliest welcome when we return to our favourite restaurant in Alvor . Family run and we are made to feel so special and we cannot wait to return as soon as we leave . 100% recommend this restaurant- you will NOT she disappointed .

10/10We had 2 lovely meals here!!! Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary one night. Had a lovely welcoming & we had the rack of lamb - sharing for 2. Cooked to how we wanted & very tender to taste( delicious) yummy!!!!. Decided to go next day after a day tour trip out- again smiley faces & warm welcome. Had the fillet steak - lovely meat that melted in your mouth!!!! Husband had the chicken curry. Both of us were so full, husband had 20 year old Port for afters. Unfortunately it was their last night serving due to preparing for the Christmas Celebrations to come . They re-open on 27th December 2024. We wish on the staff a joyful & wonderful Christmas & New Year!!!

10/10This was our first time to visit Por Do Sol. We visited Por Do Sor based on a recommendation from another couple. We choose the Rack of Lamb for two (garlic and herbs). I thought the meal was a 10 out 10. I think my wife felt 9 out of 10. This type of restaurant is very pricey for us but for a very special occasion it is very nice!
