Excellent
Fantastic food with a great and varied selection of dishes. The price is fair and the service is very professional! I would definitely suggest this place
Good presentation. Price too high for the portions. Filetto di manzo hard to eat. Very good tonno in crosta di pistacchio
Beautiful dinner, gracious service, memorable place! Highly recommended. The waiter told us the story about the building, which was fascinating.
They don't like tourists in general in Venice ....they aren't afraid to let you notice that. The service is very disappointing and the ambiance of the restaurant needs an update...it's out dated. The waiters don't tell you anything about what's on your plate and they disappear very fast....so you can't even order a bottle of wine....they don't listen to you when you ask for a bottle of wine, they return with 2 glasses of wine .........they don't explain anything about the wine or the oysters or your dish....the lobster was overcooked.....the fish was great....but the price you pay for this poor service...totall price 144 and get this is return....I don't understand why they have such a high rating on the fork
Excellent service and the complimentary drinks on arrival was a really nice touch. The food was superb and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and would certainly return.
Good food, but they were short staffed so service was super slow and a number of dinners just left. The waiters were very apologetic but it did take the shine off the evening.
PosteVecie is the place for a truly decadent evening. The service was flawless, the location enchanting and the food delicious. No problems accommodating allergies and they had some GF options. Really, this place is perfection.
A very nice discovery: little gem "hidden" near the "Mercato di Rialto", you get there crossing a small wooden bridge. The room we ate in was beautiful (first one left pf the entgrance; old wooden beams and stone fireplace), the food was really good (seafood, pastas and a good local organic white wine) and the waiters were really friendly. I totally recommend this place (just know you will pay more than the usual places you can find throughout the city but it's well worth it) !
The first time that I eat really good in Venice. We like every thing, The restaurant with the chimwnea, the food was really good, in special the risoto of pesce, the Tiramisu and the service was perfect. Very recomended
Gorgeous setting and mood for Valentine’s - quiet understated with lovely seafood in a wonderful setting with a roaring fire - ended with the most gorgeous ‘chocolate garden’ dessert just wow! It was hard to find as tucked round the corner on the fish market but made it all the nicer when we finally did over its own little bridge - I’d read reviews on here beforehand to decide where to book in Venice on Valentine’s - no pressure???? but wasn’t disappointed! Would highly recommend!
Fresh fish & vegetables, intelligently & sensitively prepared & elegantly served.
The service was exceptional from beginning to end. They treated waiting like an art form and knew exactly what they were doing. The food was excellent and not too pricey considering the quality and everything was prepared to perfection and the atmosphere was beautiful.
Personale gentilissimo
Sempre un ottima scelta!
Very tradition venue but.a delight
Excellent in every way and in a magical Venetian location off the beaten tourist track!
Both food and service are excellent, fish is a must and we were very happy with the wine advice the waiter gave us. Unfortunately it was the last evening otherwise we would have definitely come back.
Had a good time there! The food was great, I absolutely loved the lobster with spaghetti! Make sure you have also a spritz! They do it slightly different from usual ! Loved the room, found it quite romantic! The fact that it is necessary to Cross a little wooden Bridge to get in the restaurant made my venizian experience even better
We just finished our dinner at Poste Vecie and If I had one word to describe it, it would be disappointing. The food was great, cannot complain about that. However, I reserved a table over a month in advance of our visit, knowing I would be proposing to my girlfriend of the time, and wanted a romantic location to celebrate, and this place is listed as one of the most romantic in Venice. Despite our reservations it seems we were seated in a "party room". We were seated next to a large group of 16, that had 8 young children. Instead of a romantic atmosphere we were surrounded by loud, running, shouting children and the sounds of Sonic the Hedgehog, as one of them brought their Nintendo Switch and were loudly playing it throughout our dinner. It felt more like we were at a TGI Fridays, or Applebee's. Further, the service was terrible. Our dishes were hastily dropped in front of us with little to no explanation. As an example, we ordered a sampler of 3 oysters. The waiter nearly forgot to tell us which oysters were which, and provided no explanation on where these oysters where from, or what the seasonings accompanying them were. We also ordered a bottle of wine and the just placed the bottle on our table stating that they ran out of stands for the wine. This left us extremely cramped at our 2 person table. Not a big deal except when the table next to us ordered wine they were able to find a stand. I would expect that if they obtained an extra stand they would have brought it to us, the table already waiting for one. In summary, good food (but that is not hard to find in Venice), but poor atmosphere and service ruined the experience
toilette smell while entering, no bread, Grissini on table (other guest got it), no oil, salt, pepper, rose wine run out, portions small, polenta cold, dishes not brought away ans no question if anything is needed while x-times pasing the table, so we took dolce somewhere else ... and i remeber the good food an service 40 years ago on this hidden place
