Excellent
Everything about our dinner at Prairial was outstanding. The food was fantastic and staff was great. When in Lyon you should definitely try and eat there.
The staff were very welcoming and professional. They fully explained every dish and gave a detailed description of the wines. The food was outstanding. A very well balanced menu. A very stylish decor. All in all a very pleasant experience.
We had a lovely time here for lunch. There were several options for the menu depending on number of courses and the price was quite reasonable starting at 35 euros for 3 courses (was really 4) and 13 e to add a cheese course which we did. We didnt do the wine flailing but we did have wine. The menu is a “surprise”. You select number of courses and whether you want fish or meat. We both selected fish and it was fabulous. I think shark (although it seemed more like a white fish) in an almond milk- it was unbelievably tender and tasty. The artichoke dish and carrot starter that preceded the main plate was also exquisite to look at and to eat. Dessert was a series of chocolate wrapped delights filled with chocolate cream, raspberry and sweet clover which was our favorite. If I lived in Lyon, I’d eat here regularly.
Outstanding food. Light but full of flavour using seasonal local produce. Had 6 course lunch menu with paired wines. Wines were an excellent match to the food. My partner is vegetarian and she rates this as up there with finest food she has eaten. Small restaurant nice ambience excellent service. Deserves another star
Spectacular
Amazing food. Wine selection is not bad while service could be improved that waiters are very shy/far-distance.
Very memorable meal. The sommelier was excellent at describing the pairings and why it was chosen. The food was fresh and unique, and very delicious!
La
We loved our first Michelin dining experience at Prairial! I came here with my parents on a recent trip to Lyon. Both of them have several dietary restrictions (ie. Shellfish allergies) that the server easily accommodated. The sommelier also recommended a great wine to accompany our food. The dishes were beautiful and a wonderful combination of flavors and textures. Definitely would come back to this restaurant on a future return trip to Lyon!
This was a fantastic lunch. Every dish was prepared with such care and was delicious. The wines that were selected by the server complimented each dish. Everyone in the restaurant appeared to be relaxed and enjoying the food as much we were. I would without a doubt return to this restaurant.
Just one word, PERFECT! Food and service were excellent which made our evening super. Don't expect a classical michelin star restaurant but one that is innovative and respectful for the ingredients at the same time. Decoration is modern and cosy at the same time. Out of the different Michelin star restaurants in Lyon, we were very happy to have chosen for the Prairial. If we return back to Lyon, this restaurant will be surely again on our list for lunch or dinner.
Excellent. Imaginatif. Very tasty
The 6 course tasting menu was great and the wine pairings were very thoughtful and spot on. The highlight dish was the 2nd dessert - a chocolate dish that absolutely exploded with complex flavors and kept unfolding and surprising me more as I chewed the first bite.
très bien
Un moment magique,d exception Une cuisine contemporaine, des cuissons pointues, des produits de saison,du goût du goût Bravo ,merci on touche à la perfection
Just perfect. Most enjoyable and fun.
Really fresh flavours. Lovely ambience. Great to see such a nice rapport between the front of house and kitchen. Food was simple style but interesting and developed flavours . Highly recommended
Modern cuisine at very high level. Definetly to be recommendet to any foody visiting the city.
Superb good value 4-course lunch. Very good and charming service.
