Great cozy place with excellent and very reasonably priced food! The waiter was perfect, very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. Will definitely return soon!
Good food, good prices and a good experience, never a disappointment
Cozy, attentive staff, good food and also understandable when I called before to postpone my reservation a bit since we would arrive later due to traffic.
Good food and very good service!
Great place in the centre of Brussels. Nice atmosphere, very friendly waiters. The kirr royal was the perfect start. My salmon was delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was divine. I will definitely come again!
The Angus beef is delicious. Very friendly staff and good service.
Plus point that the waiters were really nice and the waiting time was short, but the food was less then mediocre. The pumpkin soup tasted nothing like pumpkin, just salty water, the second courses were also disappointing, not very tasty, more like ready made "bought in the shop tossed it in the pan" like. I guess that's why it's a cheap place (well compared to other places in Brussels)
Food was very good and good price, the waiters were welcoming and friendly and we got a very quite area in the second floor just for us. The only negative point: to get their attention we had to come down the floor, as not always they were looking up. But overall, a very good experience
What a great lunch we had! Lovely setting, very central and welcoming. Our host was amazing and friendly and the food was so good! Me and my 3 lady friends ended our holiday with our last meal here. Couldn't have chosen a better place!
The food was nice and portions are big. The service was good and fast. However, we were told that "carafe d'eau" (a jar of tap water) were not given in Belgium so we had to order mineral water. We knew that wasn't true as we had order it before at other restaurants...
Seemed to be understaffed. Table wasn't ready until 15 minutes after the booked time. Took too long for the waiter to come to our table for our order. But the food was good. Value for money.
Italian tasteless food without originality, a tourist trap, and the wines they are selling are mostly overseas wines from Chile.
We were a group of 8 adults and came to Publico after reading some good reviews. We did not regret our decision at all! The place was really cozy, with a good music on. The menu offered a variety of foods so everyone found something they liked. The quality and the presentation of meals was excellent too. Despite having only one waitress at service (meaning it took some time for her to serve all the tables), she remained calm, professional and positive. The waitress was able to speak many languages and made no errors in our orders. We really enjoyed our experience at Publico and can recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to eat and unwind.
My Irish colleagues and me found the service, food and placement remarkable and worth remembering for next time when we are back in Brussels for a cosy dinner between colleagues.
Excellent et service impeccable !
Very very good restaurant, we decided to go eat once with my couple and we literally ended up going 3 times in a row ^^. You've got to taste the calamari! Also, the price/quality/portion ratio it's very very good. My boyfriend decided to eat the Seafood Risotto and felt he had more seafood than rice :P
Really nice people serving lovely food. Just a chilled out nice little restaurant
Great atmosphere, even greater staff! Highly recommend!
Book it because it fills up. Highly recommend the beef carbonnade. Delicious and not speedy.
Nice evening, friendly service, good price for the quality of the food, size of the dishes is perfect, even if you are really hungry! :) free olives and bread with butter.
