Easy, free parking in Queens parking lot, friendly staff, reasonably priced wine and delicious food. This popular local venue didn't disappoint.

We haven't been to the Queens Hotel for a long time but it didn't disappoint. Sam was very professional and assisted us with our order and when organising payment. He even organised a chocolate drink for one our friend's child that wasn't on the menu. The food came all at the same time which is great for a restaurant and so did the drinks. The only comment was the queens chicken salad. The cherry tomatoes were large for this type of salad and there wasn't a lot of avocado. A couple of us had the salad and we had to search for the avocado.

The Queens pub has been a fixture of Beaufort street forever. I have been rediscovering it again after 20 years and it has not disappointed. At the weekend it is lively, busy and a great place to enjoy drinks and a bite with family and friends. It is set centrally between Mount Lawley and the city and has a carpark for easy access. The menu is not super large but it is good food,plus their pizzas are delicious and plenty of choice. Also it doesn’t break the bank. They also have a children’s menu for the chicken nugget and pizza kids. It’s a great weekend spot for relaxing and enjoying the mood of happy people enjoying life. The staff are great too.

When ordering via the table phone system your food all arrives at the same time so first and second course will be within minutes of each other, if you send your mains back they wait in the heating device then its brought back after. Your meal then spoils unfortunately this is the system so order at the bar then you should get time to eat the first course before your second arrives.

A nice looking venue, we were acknowledged by staff upon entry. Meal orders were taken & meal delivered in an efficient & friendly manner. The portions were very good sized meals. Unfortunately background sounds were loud. Not an intimate restaurant more tavern like. Shame others took our reserved table. We were on time for our booking just so you know. We would like to give it a second chance. Our guests were all family one from New Zealand.

Queens is a great pub , good service, good food ,good atmosphere and friendly staff ….. can’t go wrong ! Even on a busy Saturday night they still managed to do the little things like topping up water and clearing up promptly when finished eating !

Was not great, firstly rang up and never heard back when they siad they would. Requested to sit outside was put inside. Then asked a bar tender to move chairs and tables to make it more convenient to which he siad yes. Manager walks past with a sour face and says do not move the tables I’m the boss. Ok buddy ???????? Cheers guys

Great lunch today with my sweetheart. Welcoming, friendly, attentive & helpful staff. It has been our experience that most venue will not compromise when placing an order. It's either order via the APP or counter/table service. We also had The Fork voucher of $50 to redeem. Also I had my eye on the lunch APP special, the bster roll. All sorted in minutes. My sweetheart had the Barramundi which was delicious. Fish perfectly cooked. The other ingredients complimented each other perfectly. I had the lobster roll. Delicious. It looked small but quite satisfying. We shared the tiramisu dessert. Amazingly delicious.. We will definitely return.

Menu is good albeit a little pricey for both the food and beers at $13+ a pint and circa $30 for a pizza. Great atmosphere and the revamped outdoor area and toilets looks really good.

The queens has changed since I went there last and I was underwhelmed. The menu looks like it has changed. The pasta offering looked very bland. Luckily there was still the Chicken salad on the menu which was still nice. The way you order food has changed and you scan a barcode and order online. As there was not many people on the floor, we couldn’t ask for recommendations. My daughter’s pasta was very bland.. I guess this new ordering system would be difficult for people who don’t have phones and challenging for the older generation too. Disappointing that there was a lack of wait staff and less of a service offering in the space.

I reserved a table but on arrival was told no reservation was made. The menu had changed, not to our liking, the atmosphere was dead with hardly any patrons - and $15 for a glass of Merlot was outrageous. I meet a friend at the Queens every month or so and it has been going downhill. Needless to say we shall be meeting elsewhere in the future.

The toasted ravioli and tomato salad with burrata were amazing, and the drinks went down well. Chips arrived lukewarm, but they worked for us as they were for the kids. Staff were friendly.

Booked through The Fork..first time. Turned up to the Queens and table was waiting. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Awesome table outside enjoying the sunshine..will definitely do it again.

The sausage pizza and the pork belly sandwich were both delicious. My partner and I both enjoyed our meals at the Queens with a pint of Balter XPA, the beer garden here is also fantastic.

We had the worst experience at the queens tonight. There were 4 of us - 2 sets of parents who don’t go out much. I booked our reservation a couple of weeks ago only to find out we only had 1.5 hours at the table. After having issues with the ordering system, we finally ordered our food. We were then harassed over 3 times reminding us that we need to finish by 7.30. I was still eating and felt rushed through our whole dinner. Won’t be going back there

Lazy Friday lunch at a neighbourhood gem. A busy afternoon. .Quick and friendly service..well prepared food, good menu . I have dined here several times in the past month and noticed the 350g rib eye steak portion is getting smaller and less mash potato...a little disappointed ???? .

when i booked i was not told of the "we are not a restaurant, we are a pub that serves food" so we had to do the food and drinks order via the app, that was okay but i would have liked to be told first. its was my birthday dinner, the food that came out was warm not hot, bread was dry. I won't be eating at the Queens again.

Why has the Queens turned Italian? ( not that I mind italian). We went there specifically for the Cajun chicken Salad but it's no longer. Went across the road to the new Beaufort. Its a shame.

Nothing can get better than the prawn pizza that's on their menu. All the pizzas are delicious however the prawn exceptional. I was served by a staff member called Nadja who was above and beyond in her customer service! Please thank her and congratulate her!

The restaurant encourages the use of QR code based ordering from your table. They advocated this as a way to easily split the bill. Three of us did this. We all ordered meals at the same time. Our meals did not come at the same time. One of us received their meal almost 15 minutes before others arrived. When we expressed concern about this we were told it was because we ordered separately. It's not good enough when you're encouraged to do something which is later used as an excuse for poor service.

Thank you for coming back to us with this feedback Jay, this is most unfortunate to hear that the ordering system was not fully explained and was instead used as a scapegoat due to miscommunication. When ordering with the system, there is a 90 second window of opportunity once you have paid, for a fellow friends order to also print at the same time as your own to our kitchen and bar. If this window passes, the orders will go through separately. Furthermore, any orders with an entree or side dishes will have those smaller meals sent out first, followed by the main meals once they have been prepared. We do hope you and yours enjoyed your food today with us and when you're next in we shall have our service standards exceeding expectations. The Queens Team ~Sam

Disappointed with the confusing and complicated ordering process, particularly using the Entertainment Card. Our group is unlikely to return.

This is unfortunate to hear Paula that this was your experience with us. The entertainment discount has to be manually discounted from the bill and cannot be integrated into the table ordering system. Ordinarily the system allows for table orders to reach the bar and kitchen in record time to provide efficient service. We do hope you will reconsider our venue again soon, The Queens Team ~Sam

We love the queens usually but have found the prices high and the food quality only ok the last few times. Kids ordered pizza and it was very sloppy last 2 times had water on plates. They have removed the awesome pork salad and unfortunately the lasagne is different than it used to be not much meat and very cheesy.

We had the lasagne as a main, and while I enjoyed it, we were both surprised on the way it was presented on an entrée sized plate with no salad or vegetables. Just a very large slab of lasagne on a very small plate.
