Duck was great, fish was over cooked and greasy. House is nice but you are crammed into a room with too many tables. Overall disappointed with the experience. Fish reminded me of the scene from the movie Burnt.

Imaginative cooking. Red snapper with a lightly mustard sauce a highlight. Beautifully cooked large mushroom in panko a great starter. Stunning setting in nineteenth century Manor House dining room. Old- fashioned immaculate waiting.

Food and service excellent and really good value for money. Manor House is lovely and views from the garden overlooking Funchal wonderful But it was very quiet and quite elderly on the restaurant which is a pity as food was much better than many more expensive restaurant s in Funchal

Lovely drive through the gates upto the house looks very exclusive and the lighting ambiance was lovely. We dined at the manor house which was exclusive and had that feeling of privacy to it somewhere that Hollywood stars would go to. I would highly recommend booking a head and only about 10 minutes in a taxi from Funchal.
