Your paying for the view. We had the raw seafood appetizer, which was overwhelmingly under seasoned, and after asking for a second salt grinder that didnt work (due to the humidity I think) we had no way of fixing it ourselves and came with only one oyster which I thought was a mistake for something that is typical built to share for two. The entrees were nice but when going to a restaurant that is charging 50 euros for a plate of spaghetti and with lobster and tomato sauce I would at the very least expect to have the pasta made in house. The service was attentive, warm, and friendly and the cocktails were good as well, but the food was the least impressive experience we had in Positano.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday by having dinner at Rada Beach Bistrot. The food, service and ambiance were amazing! We particularly enjoyed the oysters (they were huge and delectable) and the amberjack steak. My only complaint which is not really a complaint is that I meant to make reservations at Rada Beach Rooftop, and it wasn’t clear across all websites that the Bistrot and Rooftop are two separate venues. But, such is life. Rada Beach Bistrot was a fantastic experience!

i thought the food will be better , it was normal and for the prices they have the food should be better in quality , service was not so good we asked for everything twice or even three times until we got it , best thing is the atmosphere and location its really nice

We had an amazing experience. The people were amazing from the time we got in until the end. Chef came to greet us, and the food was amazing. What we really enjoyed was the views and ambience. Thank You Rafa for the good experience

The wine glasses were smelling! Toilets were dirty! Waiter was very rude and Food was below average!!! Am surprise how this restaurant can be a recommended Michelin!!!

This restaurant is clearly just a front for Instagram bloggers who are far more interested in the way the food looks as apposed to how it tastes. Having worked in michellin star restaurants, I know Good food when I see it. While the ingredients were lovely, the raw fish platter we ordered came with nothing other than raw fish. No sauce, herbs, seasoning, nothing. The tuna tartar came with no egg yolk or any seasoning whatsoever, so in essence it was so,ply a neatly piled stack of cubed tuna. Finally, our mains. My wife ordered the beef fillet medium rare, and it came out medium well, then we sent it back for it to come back out well done. At which point I pushed my food to the side and left as I went to eat dinner with my wife and not alone.

Fantastic location right beside the sea with stunning views of Positano. Food was lovely and fresh. It's expensive but you are paying for location and view. Prices are same as online menu so there's no hidden surprises

I reserve a table at rooftop, not in a table on the beach! It’s cosy, but It wasn’t What I book! The hostess is a “blasé” person. Well, I’m not a “net set” costumer and Maybe it’s disapointed her! The rest of a staff was very Kindle! The food was good, but not to have a mencion in a Michelin guide!

I was under the impression it was a rooftop- but were sat on the beach. The staff was arrogant, rude and snobbish. They asked us to order all at once ‘because it was better for the kitchen’ even though there was more guests coming in. It was a tactic in order not to serve us again. When we needed more drinks or food, the servers purposely looked down to the floor. This happened with other guests too. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I tend not to leave reviews but I have not been able to rid of the bad taste in my mouth. The food was actually delicious but the portions were small for the price while being treated poorly. We wanted to order more- but were flat out ignored and when we tried to get attention, they would rudely reply it wasn’t their job to take orders. We left and ate somewhere else since we were still hungry.

An unforgettable experience. A must do when in Positano!! Excellent service, food and view! Definitely a great place for dinner. Will do again next time we visit.

We went for dinner this evening, we loved it. The food was excellent and the service, the waiter gave us a recommendation which we loved! We also went to the bar for drinks last night and loved it, so lively and a great atmosphere.

The only thing the Rada has going for it are its views and proximity to the beach. The food was incredibly mediocre - not bad but definitely not worth the price. The service was horrendous; we had a reservation for dinner right at opening but weren’t seated until 40 minutes after our reservation time. After dinner we hoped to grab a drink at the music bar upstairs but no one seemed to care that we were there; the bartenders only seems to talked to parties of young females. If you’re looking for a Michelin-list restaurant, try one of the many other places in Positano; we had a better experience at Blue Bar next door.
