The menu is much better than last year. Great Prawns, duck rice, tasty pork and mild tasty chicken curry. Great desserts including panna cotta, apple crumble, choc mousse. Very good food indeed.

Good food service OK but nothing spectacular

We visited the restaurant twice during our two week holiday two years ago and enjoyed the experience so much we decided to go again although we were staying further away. The atmosphere is very friendly, the food is very good and the staff are sociable and attentive. Well worth a visit

Quiet place near são brás, with amazing view to the sea. Amazing tasting menu.

We went for the Sunday brunch / 7 course tasting menu which changes every week. Absolutely wonderful way to spend 3 hours in the relaxing, airy, contemporary setting. Great value at €22 a head.

Excellent food ! the service at the time we were having diner was very slow. Service could be better with more attention to details without having to ask. The exterior athmosphere should be more taken care of especially the light and the comfort of the seats There is a rather cold ambience. Despite we had a fine evening.

Excellent meal, thoughtfully presented. You can see the chef working and the waiters are not overly attentive but friendly and knowledgeable about the food

Raizes has become our favorite restaurant because it has a nice view from the terrace and EXCELLENT food. Tasty fisf dishes and superb sunday brunch. Also very friendly service and good quality/cost ratio. Inside it can become a bit noisy when some guests overdo it on the decibels. But we cannot really blame the owner for that..,

Comida como sempre excelente!! Talvez por ser durante a semana esperámos muito tempo até vir o couvert (1h) e 1h30 para comer mas vale sempre a pena esperar. Ir com o pensamento de Slow Food e desfrutar do momento!!

So glad to have found this gem of a restaurant. Great setting, plenty of parking, and a warm welcome greeted us to this family friendly Resturant in the hills. Comfortable table places with a contemporary feel and attentive service combined with tasty food will make us sure to return. We finished our evening dancing on the roof under an amazing ???? night.

Ate hear as a Family of four. Fantastic experience from start to finish! Great food, great service and really good price too. Highly recommend this establishment and also the hidden gem of a roof top beach bar as well. Can’t wait to come back!!!
