Unfortunately we were the only diners so there wasn't much of an atmosphere but it was a Monday night. We spoke with the owner Xavier? at some length, he was exceptionally pleasant and interesting. We shared a warm goats cheese salad, there was more than enough for 2. Good main courses too, however, peppercorn sauce on the duck was a little too spicy for husband, it may be better served separately so that as much or as little can be used by the diner.

When we arrived (7:30pm on a Friday evening - out of season admittedly) the place was empty, which wasn't a promising start. There was not another customer the whole time we were there. Then there was the menu - the Fork advertise is as "Caribbean". I've no idea what makes it that, as there was no sign of Caribbean influences on the menu. Then the food arrived - my wife had chicken which wa s pretty bland, but at least was cooked consistently. My 'medium' steak ("piece of beef" on the English menu, which is probably more accurate!) was rare at one end, and overdone at the other. I asked them to cook the rare end more, which resulted in a solid overcooked piece of beef, with a texture more like a badly cooked piece of roast beef than a steak. The men's toilet door was broken and didn't close, with full visibility to the shared sink. The only thing that went "well" was the 50% Fork discount was applied, but even then I regretted paying the money.

Bonjours monsieur Suite a votre remarque je pense vraiment que vous ne connaissez rien a la cuisine française car une piece de viande sa se mange saignant Vous parler de la cuisine des caraïbes pour moi vous connaissez pas aussi la géographie car on viens d un autre continent plutôt côté Afrique mais ses pas grave car a moins 50% il vaut mieux fermer sa geule je pense ses mieux autre part merci a vous monsieur le grand connaisseur
