We ordered the prix fixe dinner menu and had some difficulty getting help with our wine selection). Of the main courses, the soup was very good as was the Sea Bass (again, although I thought the vegetables overcooked, a bit soft). Perhaps the second course was good if you like Grey mulet carpaccio and sea urshin. We did not like it and found it had a very strong (too strong for us) fishy taste. We understand the particularities of a menu fixe, no one offered a replacement. It was not as good as our visit to the Alain Ducasse restaurant in Washington, DC (now closed). Overall a disappointing experience with this location.

June 28, 2017 I found the food exceptional however, as we had the SIGNATURE Menu at 80 Euros each, there was no explanation of what we were eating. The men often were served first and there was no waiter who kept an eye on our little group of 6. We had to ask for the wine and sometimes twice. What was the most irritating, is that I was the one extending the invitation; and with the bill over 1000 euros, I would expect the waiter to know that I was the one paying (as I had chosen and tasted the wine) and not place the bill in front of a male member at our table. Halfway through the evening, I had to ask for water THREE times and then we were presented with a half bottle which when it was poured out to my guests, again left me with very little water. I regret to say, that as in many French restaurants, the food is excellent, but the service lacks focus and hospitality. Management may need to pay closer attention to the front of the restaurant. Very simpatethic crew offering a correct service. The food was delicious and precisely cooked , what is important considering that the specialties are fish and seafood.
The wine list has a nice variety of regions and good range of price,
The dessert was amusing, the best eclair we had ever eaten. Simply amusing.
The overall was a nice experience, maybe a little pricey.

Le Rech - an institution, incorporated by A. Ducasse in his wide array of restaurants of all levels. No Ducasse around, neither in the kitchen nor in the service brigade. Staff in their professional junior high education, advice in food and beverage professionally poor but in rather agreeable English, prices soso-lala, means almost OK. In spite of in-time booking we were seated - as all other foreign guests, in the Rez-de-chaussée whilst all (dropping by) French were taken upstairs. Lets see how long this will be rated as "Le Rech" and not just "the Rechnung"...A Fish Place...but the only highlight is the Desert...does that make sense, Mr. Ducasse?
