8/10Food was fabulous, just were I was sitting the table light was dirty and there was long hair on the ledge , there was no intention of cleaning this up which I found very unhygienic, I did speak the Southampton branch manager , he was very apologetic but that was it , I will go in again , and hopefully there cleaning standard will be up to scratch

9.5/10Food was amazing, very large portions, slightly pricey. Service was a little slow, was waiting for 15-20 minutes for our food order to be taken. In the future when we have a bit more time to eat then we will be back.

10/10I come here most weekends with my boyfriend, the food and service never dissapoints- I decided to go to the red dog for my birthday meal today and brought along some of my family, they loved everything about this place. Highly recommend

5/10Service was awful, waited 90mins for food. Got moved table 3 times. Kept messing up the drinks orders and even they took 20mins each time to arrive. Ordered burgers and chips, we all finished the burgers before the chips arrived.

10/10The food is unlike anything else I’ve ever had in the UK, I hope they last forever. The vibe is just as good too plus the staff are great!

6/10The food was below what I would expect for the cost. We had a sharing platter which was approx £35 a head. When the food came out we looked at each other and said, is that it! I would have expected there to be more for the price. The food was Luke warm.

4.5/10This was our second visit, and will be our last. We opted to give it a second try after our first visit was blighted by very very slow service but great food. This time though both were disappointing. We got there for 6ish and left after finishing our door at nearly 8, most of that time was waiting - waiting to be served, waiting for plates to be cleared away, waiting for mains. Plus the chicken wing starter were horrendously overdone, think nearly black as opposed to a golden brown. Saw maybe 4 servers max, 1 person behind the bar trying to cope with a 1/2filled restaurant. Not nearly enough staff. The place is also looking tired now, toilet still broken, doors hanging off cupboards. The final nails in the coffin it’s very expensive for what it is, and the automatically applied 10% service charge is a joke considering how awful the service is. So many better places in West Quay and nearby, avoid Red Dog.

10/10The food was really nice and had a unique test that was not obvious and boring. Loved everything we had from drinks to food. The staff was really lovely from coming in till leaving. There was a client who choked and i was so pleased staff was trained and knew what to do which they responded quickly meaning this is how aware and alert they are. The lady was saved and was alright after all. Really was happy about that too.

9/10Very busy place on a Saturday. Service was really good. However sooo busy they ran out of wine glasses so had ours in a tumbler! Food was really nice, the burgers very tasty

5.5/10Was disappointed with food overall. Portion sizes especially on starters far to big and could be cheaper if smaller.more time spent on flavour needed as was lacking especially for a bbq restaurant
