Restaurant Amici

Although we booked with the 50% discount (valid only for the food, not drinks), in the end we paid for the whole amount for all. The waiter, when confronted, said that the discount would only applies for more dishes, while we had two. We said that this was not mentioned in Fork, but he insisted that this is what he does for all costumers, that if he gave us the discount then the food would be considered for free, that it was up to me to warn him that I had booked a table with discount and that he could not see the discount at his booking sheet. I also showed him my booking in the app, where the discount was mentioned, but he was still not changing his mind and insisted that it applies for larger orders. Then, tell me dear Fork and readers: Why would I then be motivated to book the table at this restaurant who does not accept the terms of use of The Fork festival and the discount mentioned in the site? In terms of food: yes ok it was good and tasty, but otherwise nothing special.

Good Italian food, I have been here more often and was never disappointed.

This restaurant was a great find. The staff were very welcoming and the service was very good. We enjoyed all the plates we ate. I definitely would like to visit this restaurant again.

Loved the place and the food was good. Service a bit slow made us feel forgotten a couple of times.

They were not attentive to us and forgot to bring our dessert. The owner/waiter persuaded us to more expensive dishes, which should have had seafood, but they must have forgotten or didn’t want to provide since we had a discounted meal.

We went there because it was one of the only places that accept yums, and we had plenty of them. When we got there the owner told us they didn't do 50% off anymore in a very rude way. I told him that we didn't want that discount, that we only wanted to spend our yums, he check again in a very rude way let us sit in a table. Then we ask for tap water and they brought us a bottle without asking, even when the table next to us had normal tap water. The main dish was good, but the entrance (bread with tapenade) was basically cold bread with mayonnaise with a tint of color. I lived in Napoli and I was expecting too much from this restaurant, but I just felt they didn't want us to be there and the food was disappointing.

The octopus ntipasti was so good!!! Both my husband and I enjoyed it a lot. The food overall is good quality and portion wise is also good, although there were a lot of customers there, we didn't need to wait long for our dishes.

I feel like WOW!! From the first impressions welcoming. Staff was fun and lovely. The food was excellent! The location was very easy to find (Just right to the Van Speijkstaart tram stop). Overall i am highly recommend you to this place.

Nice Italian restaurant in the center of The Hague. Great food and very nice service. The sole with white wine sauce is worth testing it. Make a visit with your couple and/or friends!

Very good, very Italian, very hospitable. We had a Fork Summerdeal; it was good value for money and enjoyable evening. Some our party were a bit late, this was no problem
