Restaurant Belmonte (by Fletcher)

The location is superb, the outdoor view is great, but the terrace setting should be improved. A big open parking-lot-like (but not a parking lot) could be transferred in a lawn, the terrace more to the front. Only possible to have 'bistro' menu outdoor. The restaurant could be decorated much better, it feels outdated. We were served by around 8 different waiters , making the whole experience a bit messy. Food was good, pricing fair.

Delicious food and great selection of accompanying wines. We are definitely coming back for that! Unfortunately, the waiters and waitresses are quite inefficient, which did spoil the general impression of the whole experience.

The ambience and food was very good. Good food for good price!

Unfortunately we had to wait 1,5 hours for our starter, after that again 45 min for the main dish and 30 min for the desert. When the food finally arrived it also did not quite match our expectations of a high class restaurant. The main dish was not hot enough, the side dish next to the meat was very small (maybe just our feeling because we were starving by then), and the meat was too raw for my taste. It was also disappointing that we only received a small compensation for the incredibly long waiting time (they striped 4 of the 6 drinks off our bill) after we specifically asked for it. We would have expected a much more attentive and hospitable service in such a fancy and expensive restaurant. On the positive side, the view from the terrace is really stunning.
