Absolutely delicious! We went with AH Actie and although the menu was specific to the AH Actie there was an option for everyone. I had the seafood appetizer - each a little star on it's own but the smoked creyfish was a real standout in excellence and my partner had the beef carpaccio which was amazing. For dinner I had the salmon - delicious. My partner had the US Steak - perfectly cooked. None of the dishes were so complicated or sophisticated - but instead they were the classics of the genre and perfectly prepared. Dessert was an almond parfait and creme brulee - wonderful. I would have given the service a 10 as well except for a small glitch in the timing between clearing the main course/taking our dessert order and the length of time it took for the dessert to show up. Don't get me wrong I don't mind waiting between courses but I would prefer to do so with a glass of wine and not just at an empty table with dry glasses. Of course the desserts were so delicious that the (slight) irritation was ultimately replaced with smiles once they arrived.
Dear Lisa, thank you for your kind words and compliments! Kind regards, Pepijn List
