My mom and I went here on our second-to-last night in France on a trip we took for her 75th birthday. I could not have asked for a better experience. The food was amazing, the plating was beautiful, and the service was top-notch. The only thing I am sad about is that I live so far away that I might never have this experience again. We had the four-course meal and were both pleased with all of our choices. I had the crab ravioli starter, the sea bass entree, the cheese cart (of course) and a fruit and meringue dessert. At the end of the meal, they brought my mom a pastry with Joyeaux Anniversarie written on it (Happy Birthday) that made her day.

Exquisite dining experience. We had the 4 course seasonal menu which was perfect. It began with a chilled melon soup that was just right for a hot summer evening. Then white asparagus with white summer truffles and and emulsion of truffles. Next was a sea bass in an apple sauce, cheese course and two desserts. Each course tasted better than they looked and they all were all beautifully presented. This is a restaurant that deserves its accolades and is recommended to anyone who wants a meal to remember.

C’est au cœur de la Normandie, à Rouen sa ville natale, que le grand Chef Gilles Tournadre a posé ses tableaux. Oui ses tableaux, car bien plus que de simples recettes, ce sont de vraies œuvres d’art que nous propose le Chef.
Dès l’entrée du restaurant, ce n’est plus l’air marin qui nous enivre, mais le parfum subtil et délicat des innombrables saveurs normandes.
Le décor, sobre et élégant est un reflet intime de la personnalité du propriétaire. Ce normand d’origine, incollable sur les spécialités de sa région, arrive à nous surprendre en réinventant ces recettes ancestrales et en y ajoutant une pointe d’exotisme savamment dosée.
Pas étonnant donc que le restaurant de ce grand Chef Relais et Châteaux ait obtenu plusieurs récompenses.
