Jasper and his team are great hosts. It was an amazing evening. We had a 4-course menu. Every plate was not only delicious but also arranged like a painting. Additionally we had the perfect wine with every course. Thx

Good food and service and nice decoration. Very taste salmon tartare as starter, a stew as main dish and chocolate fondant as dessert, allure good and well presented. also the matching wines were very good. would definitely come back!

A classic for us. Although we are familiar with the style of Jasper's, there's always something very intriguing in the compositions. Also, wine pairing is done with a lot of care.

Discovered Jasper's as part of a promotion. It was outstanding! We also appreciated the effort the chef put in to welcoming his guests and seeing them out. Nice touch.

The food was OK but clearly they had an issue with the number of people in the restaurant all apparently arriving about the same time (bad planning or just unlucky?). We lasted only for two courses which took 2 hours before giving up and skipping the dessert and the table next to us came in before us and they had just finished their first course. In fairness the waiters were very attentive to the tables but the kitchen clearly could not keep up which at this price is not OK. The chef was very apologetic and said we should have said we wanted to eat faster as its normal for it to take time (be aware if you come here)... My response was they should have told us it would take a long time or asked if we were in a hurry... But I do not think it's unreasonable to expect to eat three courses in 2 hours, it was not like we wanted to plough through it in 45 minutes and the starter was all cold so it was more a case of preparing the plate than cooking the food as it had all been prepared earlier.

Net is if you want to eat at a pace of one course an hour you'll probably enjoy it as you won't get rushed but if you want to eat faster than that make sure you tell them...

This restaurant was the highlight of our culinary time in Amsterdam. the food was to die for. the duck liver with plum and the beef tartare were amazing. the wine by the glass choice was a bit limited but we could not fault anything else. we would gladly go back again

We thought that the service was far too pretentious (waiters were particularly snooty and had an attitude!!)...but the chef was warm and friendly and approached our table and he seemed very down to earth and the food he served proved he has talent! However, the limited choice on the menu didn't really appeal to us but the dinner turned out to be just fine. I would recommend for the chef's talent!

With the festive season fast approaching, you may be on the hunt for that one, special place to relax, eat (very well) and feel divinely pampered. Look no more. Jaspers offers you everything you could ask for, from seriously refined dishes to friendly and professional service; from clarity about each dish to perfectly matching wines that trickle onto the palate and complement the skillfully prepared food. Yes you will need a healthy budget but when you bite into their 18-hour, slow cooked veal cheeks or sup back an Oyster poached in coconut, ginger, laos, sereh and red pepper you'll understand why, and smile at the indulgence.

The soup was really good. The wine was great and also the service was in line with what you expect. The waiter easily switched from Dutch into English and back again.

The food was very nice with fine flavors - i have put a 7 because I was a bit disapointed by the desert. Certainly a good address, and will come back.

Really tasty food, a nice mixture of flavours and textures. Service was very good.
Although it is not really bad, they could improve on decor, to bring it up to food standards.

A high quality diner served in a very friendly atmosphere. The team works smothly together (can be observed as the kitchen is open (cuisine ouverte) - no need to shout. Jasper takes his time to visit all the tables to assure that the guests feel welcome and to collect feed-back. The only "soft spot" that we noticed was the rather quick introduction to the wines by the sommelier. Highly recommended!

The food was delishes! Jasper himself came to the table and told us the menu, and I got the feeling he has passion for food. Perfect service from everyone. The bread and the wasabinuts to start with was also excellent. I will highly recomend this place for everyone who are looking for a gourmet dinner! We booked table in advanse, I suppose that is necessery, because every table was occupided and the place is small and cosy.

I booked this restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner. We all ate 4-5 courses each and I have to say everyone was really impressed with both the food and the service. The flavours of each dish were really good. I've been to similar restaurants where the taste didn't live up to the presentation, but in Jaspers it really does. I'd go so far as to say it's the best meal we've had in Amsterdam, and we've lived here for a year and a half (and eaten out a lot).
