The restaurant is lovely and everyone was simply wonderful. And the food was excellent - beautifully presented and excellent flavor combinations (very creative). I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience from arrival through end of meal. Chef introduction with amuse buche and stellar service by professional wait staff. Wine pairings were spot on and the meal was a relaxed and luxurious experience not to be missed.

Amazing lunch today at Julien Binz. Chef was kind to bring out our first appetizer for the meal. Every dish was artfully presented and there were several surprise dishes from Chef which we enjoyed. Recommend going for the 5 course lunch. It was a special experience. And serving staff were exceptional. Thank you.

Third visit to the restaurant. As always excellent food that would (almost) merit a second star. Wine list got even longer than before, service very attentive. Great experience. One of the best tables in the region.

I’m not a writer, so I will not be able to convey my experience with the right words to you. I will say the food is “out of this world”… The best way to describe it is: it took me somewhere magical. The service is excellent and we had the opportunity to meet the chef.

Excellent cooking, although the "signature dish" (lobster), to me, wasn't as good as eg the fish dish. The wine list is huge and the sommelier's advice to the point. Overall, it's an excellent restaurant.

Nice restaurant , however when we came it looked like it was closed. Food was very nice and special, the waiters however where formal, and made quite a few mistakes, Or seemed just to tell the obiliatory stories on the foord but nothing which lifts the service up to the level what you might expect. Given the price/ value for money. So not a dissapointment , but good be better.

We spent a beautiful moment on a Sunday afternoon, thanks to Julien’s team. A great culinary experience and very nice local wines on the recommendations of the brilliant sommelier. The only downside: the service should be slightly improved to reach the top!

Le 16 décembre 2015, Sandrine Kauffer et Julien Binz ouvrent leur restaurant JULIEN BINZ, dans le joli village viticole d'Ammerschwihr, situé sur la route des vins d'Alsace à 12 mn de Colmar. La salle de restaurant permet d'accueillir 35 couverts du mercredi au déjeuner au dimanche soir au dîner. En cuisine, Julien Binz Maître Cuisinier de France étoilé Michelin en 2012 (au Rendez-vous de Chasse à Colmar), et sa brigade vont jouer une partition culinaire contemporaine, s'appuyant sur les bases classiques de la cuisine et les produits régionaux. En salle, François Lhermitte directeur de salle veillera au bon déroulé du service, valorisant une carte des vins signée par Pascal Leonetti Meilleur Sommelier de France en 2006.
L'apéritif et les cafés peuvent être servis au salon attenant à la salle de restaurant et l'été une terrasse invite à la même prestation de détente.
