My Indonesian wife, our daughter and I had a dinner after a stroll on the shopping street. We booked the table at 6pm but we arrived almost an hour later, never the less they didn't have a problem with it. The restaurant is small but very nice, clean, cozy and of modern Indonesian style. We believe that the foods were prepared and cooked by an Indonesian because the flavor were so good although they have adjusted the spicy level to the European standard. service was very friendly. We will be back whenever have the chance to.

Awful the service they didnt know anything the waiter, it was almost nothing to choose only two things in the menú, more than three hours for to bring us the food.

An abundance of food.
We ordered one of the Rijsttafel menus for three people and there was easily enough food for four or five. All of it delicious and very flavorful, though not quite as much variety as we might have liked or the number of dishes might have suggested. Sorry to leave so much on the table.
A word to the wise: enjoy but do not fill up on the various shrimp crisps delivered with drinks!!!
Service was gracious and attentive, thought the pacing of the meal seemed a little slow given how few people were in the restaurant.
All in all a fine experience, and one I would not hesitate to repeat

It was the hottest day of the summer and our plans to enjoy the sounds and sites of Maastricht had gone up in flames - who wants to walk when the temperature is in the mid 30s. We still had to eat though and Selma suggested that the best thing to do in the heat is to eat something from a hot country. Sounds smart, but when we walked in this bright and modern restaurant, it was pretty clear that nobody else shared our idea: it was empty. Still that meant we could hog the aircon and that we had the full attention of the staff. Trudi practiced her Indonesian (6 years of studying at school in Australia had given a vocabulary of 8 words), I drank some beer and after a while and enormous quantity of food appeared on our table. It all looked and tasted fine, Nothing I had not eaten before, but it all seemed authentic and we actually managed to eat about 2/3. Obviously its hard to judge how the kitchen would cope if the place was full, but if we do come back later in the year, then its a place thats worth a 2nd visit.
