2/101/ We were welcomed by a new staff member who could not be understood. He could barely speak French and English. I am French and my husband is South African -we are fluent in both languages. However, we could not understand one word. 2/ No "A La Carte", just a very poor "Menu du jour": 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, 2 main courses. Unfortunately, we did not eat any of the 4 choices and there was no possibility to order anything else as there was no other food. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. It has nothing to do with allergies or intolerances, it has to do with the blatant lack of choices. 3/ I was born and grew up in France and I am a professional in worldwide tourism/hospitality. I have seen my share of hotels and restaurants in my life. Same for my husband. However, in 40 years, we have never ever seen a Michelin restaurant with a 9.2 note on The Fork with no "A La Carte" and having only 4 choices on their entire menu. This was supposed to be a highlight of our stay at Le Clos des Délices and turned out to be the biggest disappointment ever. We had dinner elsewhere in a proper restaurant (another Michelin restaurant nearby) and that was magnificent.
