Amazing food & outstanding service! Really the best dinner I had in quite a while. We were six people (from Germany, the US, Israel, and Ecuador), and we were all impressed. I had the pastilla with chicken, cinnamon, and sugar, and I loved it. The waiter warned me that the dish is really quite sweet, which did not bother me at all - but this is something one has to be aware of. Others had different types of Tajines, and all were delicious. The starters were also amazing. All the food was perfectly cooked and the presentation was lovely. Our two waiters were very helpful and charming. Highly recommended!
Food is really tasty! The staff is extremely friendly, the ambience is good, definitely recommend anyone to go try Mozo.
We recently had dinner at Mozo and it was great! The food was just amazing en the staff is really kind and friendly. We had Merques as a starter and Tajin Godra and Tajine Tahlia as a main course. It was so tastefull. Although we missed some vegetables with the Tajine Tahlia. We really recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food! Best tajine place in Amsterdam. It is like in Morocco but even better. The merguez appetizer was delicious, the tajine with chicken was very good! Also the tajine with shrimp was excellent. Nice staff and ambiance.
I was in the mood for a good Tajine and Mozo did not disappoint. I've tried a couple other Moroccan restaurants in the area. Some tried too hard to make it fancy, others didn't try enough. At Mozo, it was perfect. I had the chicken, olives and lemon. The portion was rather large and, I probably would not have been able to finish it had it not been so flavorful. A side of couscous tasted great mixed with the sauce of the tajine and was also large enough for 2 people to share. My friend had the chicken pastillia. Flaky and again tons of flavor. I know traditionally it is supposed to be sweet but, for me, it was nice for a few bites but I don't think I'd have been able to eat the whole thing. Before all this though, we had the fish soup which had plenty chunks of fish and a smooth, lightly seasoned taste, and the crispy meat pancakes. And for dessert, a traditional cake that I think was made with almond and dates. First bite I was surprised at how 'solid' it was but, again like everything else, the taste kept me going back for more. The service was great on our visit and I imagine it would be most of the time as it's not a very big restaurant. We were worried how we'd get on with no alcoholic drinks - sometimes it's just nice having a glass of wine with your meal. In the end though, we didn't miss it. And quite enjoyed a big pot of mint tea. If you want authentic and delicious Moroccan food, look no further!Restaurant MOZO
Thank u very much for your visit to our restaurant and this great detailed review. We hope to welcome u more often in the future. We have a lot of other tajines that we think u would love! Thanks!
Went there today for dinner, its a reasonable size restaurant. Service was good, also they didn't have English menus, they were happy to explain the menus and ingredience as much as possible.. Given that I had morrocon cuisine before, I didn't have any issue understanding.. Chicken tajine I ordered was done we'll and takes quite nice and the meatball in pepper with tomato source was a good choice for started too. Overall, I would recommend for anyone interested in trying out morrocon cuisine.
