This restaurant has just been renamed Rafi (before Lucca), but the friendly owner Rafi is still the same, so are the cooks and waiters. Service is quick and friendly. The food is good and we can definitely recommend the spaghetti with vongole and the spicy (you have to indicate if you want it to be prepared spicy) papardella with fileto di manza. For parents with children this is a great place because the playground is across the street.

Quaint family business set in an intimate setting. The lasagna, linguine and shrimp and the ravioli Mozzarella di bufala was delicious.

Good meal, it was a busy night so we waited a long time to be served and then you received our dishes. All in all, good experience and I would return.

On a Friday evening when nearly every table was full , and it was obvious that they were understaffed , the owner was still pleasant and inviting.. The service was surprisingly fast , and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I had a great time and so did my adult daughter , who especially enjoyed the pizza with truffle oil. We were treated to some Grappa by the owner before our Uber arrived. I love Italian food , and I will return to Lucca every time I visit

Lovely little place (booking would appear to be essential) with happy and smiling people serving delicious food. Our first meal in Amsterdam ever was a resounding success.

I have just returned from a meal at Pizzeria Lucca Du and I am hugely disappointed. We ordered the bruschetta which was great, the ravioli sarrentino and a mushroon pizza. The ravioli was great, the pizza was nothing special. The reason for why I am giving 1 star is because there was a coarse black hair within the melted cheese on the pizza. We told the waiting staff about it and she apologized and saw it was a hair. She then told, who seemed to be the owner about the situation. He said to her it was from the mushrooms - definitely not. The mushrooms they used were button mushrooms that had no hair like feature at all! The owner clearly rubbished my claim it was a hair and said we would still have to pay for the pizza. Paying for the pizza was not the issue - it was the fact there was obviously a coarse black hair in the pizza and the owner refused to take responsibility. It is a shame because we really enjoyed the ravioli and would have definitely visited again had he accepted there was blatantly a hair within the melted cheese! Not visiting again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the horrible management.

Dear Niki,
It is really terrible, I apologized about this situation. Because it was misunderstanding between staff and him. He said to her that you don't pay the pizza. I am the owner but I was not at Lucca due. I was cooking at Lucca Palmdwarsstr. My husband was there. He is not working there. Anyway it was something wrong.
I would like to make make good this mistake and misunderstood .
Would you like send a mail us.
Thank you very much.
