10/10Exceptional schnitzel and service. Also wine list as well as overall appeal. Book in advance and enjoy the real Viennese hospitality and ambience of the historical landmark building where the restaurant is located.

4.5/10Service can be improved. Stood at the host desk and have to speak across the restaurant to be seated. Little to no explanation was provided for the menu - but overall the staff friendly. The food was nothing special, that I decided to have dessert elsewhere.

5.5/10Dried aged meat tasted like a steak with no flavour of dried aged meat (no complexity). Gravy with it also ruins the purpose of such meat. Hidden cost: a « gebeck » for the bread…. 5 EUR stolen.

2.5/10The heavy set male waiter should bathe and use deodorant. The receptionist needs to calm her demeanor, lower voice to project comfort. Seating proximity to other guests is too close for private dinner conversations. My schnitzel was tasteless, greasy and too large.

10/10Restaurant is quaint and located on a pretty street in Central Vienna. The food is so good I’m surprised they haven’t received greater recognition. We ordered an aubergine salad and the Specht salad. Both delicious. So much so that we ordered another Specht salad and it was brought out right away. We shared the veal schnitzel. The best we had during this trip. I think this is the 4 th one we ordered on the last week. By far superior to any other. We had the poppy seed mousse which was great and we waited the 15 minutes it took to make the authentic Austrian dessert. It was well worth the wait and very good. Overall, meal was spectacular and as memorable As a Michelin star dinner we had in Prague that was superb. We met the chef. Young,nice and delightful. I would strongly recommend that you make a trip to eat here. You will love it.

10/10Our server was fantastically nice and helpful, the food was eye-rollingly good, and the restaurant ambiance feels genuine, quiet but engaging. It all combined for an absolutely lovely meal.

4.5/10The two servers were erratic, slow, and loud! We were seated next to the bar and their work area. When the two of them were there, they talked loudly and frenetically. It really was a disturbed our dinner. The food was good, but nothing special.
