High quality food presented beautifully by a diligent staff. The food was staggered very thoughtfully so you could savor each unique dish independently and appreciate the savor and presentation. The restaurant is inside an architectural masterpiece. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Most expensive wine list I ever experienced They multiply by 5 to 6 times the price of wine Prices for wine are usually 2 to 3 times more expensive than other good restaurants in Spain Example : vina Ardanza at 110euros Regarding food, bread is pretty bad Menu is quite limited I had a good menestrone of vegetables in any case Dessert was not great Service is very light and not very formal. Also quite noisy. Would recommend a bit more professional Total we spent close to 160euros for 2 people with 3 copas de vino Quite expensive for a restaurant in Spain ! Regarding location: the building is very nice especially at night

Disappointing meal at Restaurant 1860. From arrival at the restaurant and waiting 15 mins to get a menu to waiting 10mins to get the bill at the end of the evening the whole experience was underwhelming. No Sommelier to discuss the characteristics of the many wines on offer…. Opportunity missed

The experience to have lunch in the Bodegas Marques de Riscal, restaurant 1860, was great. The service was outstanding and the presentation of the dishes was beautiful. However, the dishes of the menu tasted somewhat ordinary. However, I must say, may be this is to harsh a judgement, as the menu should be traditional Basque, which clearly couldn't be high ciusine, We had 2 of their premium wines, which were really good. Particularly the great match between the Baron de Chirel 2017 with the hake of the main course was a real treat, so we bought a few bottles when we left.

The mood and the view was spectacular. It’s located in a hotel designed by celebrated architect, Frank Gehry however we are a little disappointed with the food. We got the tasting menu and some of the dishes are average. Would not come back to this restaurant for me.
