This is a fabulous Japanese restaurant by any standards (and we lived in Japan for 5 years ). Menu was super and the fish was supremely fresh and beautifully prepared (the eel was to die for). I would wholeheartedly recommend going to Aiba-ya but book as it is small and very popular.

Two points to this place: 1) truely exceptional food - I have rarely had as good sushi as what was served here, even when travelling in Japan; and 2) very nice, intimate place with great service and the chef being present in the restaurant so one can see his master pieces being created. Very much recommend this place and will be back soon myself!
