Amazing! Easy reservation, amazing food and an all round quality experience. We shared the stingray and shrimp. Excellent wine options, and amazing rosemary crème brulee to cap it off!

Great little restaurant with great service and fabulous food. Traditional Portuguese cuisine taken to a totally different level. Wonderful flavours and beautifully presented. A must try restaurant in Lagos. We will definitely return to this little gem. Reservations are a must.

Small and charming restaurant focussing on traditional coastal Portuguese cuisine. Front of house (who is also the owner) was warm, welcoming and enthusiastic. He was only too happy to discuss the meals and wines with us to ensure we were perfectly happy with everything. Attention to detail was very evident. You can see everything being freshly prepared and cooked in the open kitchen and the food was well presented and very tasty. We had a great time and will definitely return each time we are back in Lagos. One word of caution though… I would highly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

Once you have tried the other restaurants in Lagos, which can be nice with Tapas , Cataplanas etc. This is the place for really authentic Northern Portuguese food in Lagos! A very small Taverna with only a few tables (so make sure to book in advance). And a small but delicious menu.: Seafood/ Fish with fermented white cabbage (it may sound weird but it is ????), Beef tender Pica Pau with fermented veggies, the sauce is so amazing you just want to drink it.Dessert and Service was great!This is true Insiders tip ????

The place itself is small and has a great ambience. The two severs we had were excellent! They answered our questions and provided additional information throughout the meal. The food and the wine were excellent! We were a group of ten and we had appetizers, different meals and desserts all were excellent! Would recommend this place for sure!

Food was superb. Mussels to start in a delicious cataplana sauce. If I have one criticism the actual muscles were small compared with the shells but I suppose that can’t be helped. The cod with Portuguese cabbage was fantastic. Service was perfect. Attentive but not over bearing. I would heartily recommend this restaurant.

Lovely new restaurant - more expensive than most we found, but excellent quality and service. Nearly all of the cheaper wines were unavailable which would have increased the overall bill.
