The quality of the food is disappointing by any standard but all the more so when prices are relatively high. At lunch today, my wife's chicken was pitifully scrawny and had barely any meat on it. My own kid was better but still unexceptional. The fried fish starter was fine as was my dessert. Service was friendly and attentive. Cadiz has many better options! This is our favourite parador, we have stayed here regularly for the last ten years and we take no pleasure at all in advising diners to look elsewhere.

Un lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo. Cenamos amenizados por un pianista que hizo que todo saliese mejor aún de lo esperado.

Very nice hotel restaurant - food was good, but I found everything under-salted and the food didn’t come out hot. The portion sizes were very good and the staff was excellent.

The view is the only thing worth this overpriced restaurant. The service was not great. Slow and not attentive. The food was bland and not worth the price. I would recommend sitting at the bar next door for a lovely view and have a cocktail rather than wasting your money on dining here. Disappointing and underwhelming.

La comida estuvo muy rica, lo único que si vi una carta un poco corta, postre riquísimo ( tocino de cielo) vistas increíbles.

Ha sido posiblemente la mejor cena de nuestra vida. El servicio maravilloso, la comida exquisita, y las vistas inmejorables. Estuvo por encima de nuestras expectativas. Volveremos sin duda.

Todo transcurrió conforme al nivel de Paradores, es decir, EXCELENTE TODO. Siempre que nos coja cerca en nuestras visitas a Cádiz, procuraremos comer en el Parador, la verdad es GENIAL

Nice location with the sea view, but we did not like the service. We were not offered a bread but they did count it on the bill, we ordered a glass of wine and they put it as a bottle on the bill. We were waiting 20 minutes for the dessert, then we cancelled it because we did not have a time to wait so long. To be fair they take off the bread and bottle from the bill and even offered us a coffee as a compensation for the dessert. Most of the waiters were nice except one (the one who served wine and bread). So it is quite hard to review this restaurant. I would say it is decent hotel restaurant - the prizes and atmosphere reflect the location. The fish was quite good but hard to enjoy without any side dish or bread. Briefly you can try it if you are around and want to enjoy great view but we would not travel there just because of the restaurant (as we did)

A lovely dining experience with a sunset view and a lovely Atlantic ocean setting. It's a bit different experience from other dining places we went to in Cadiz but definitely worth it. Lovely food and great service.

As too often in the Paradores, service is weird. They are efficient but not smiley. At all. It was 28° today and it was not possible to eat on the sunny terrasse. They don't speak any english. Food: Ambitious menu. Very disappointing plates. Arrived mild cold. And then postres. This is why I'm writing the review. Three different desserts. All where a shame to the Paradores name. The presentation is nice. But they were not edible. A mille feuilles all spongy with a weird cream. A Danette tastes must better. A fruit salad that reminded me my cantine school years. And best of the best even the very easy crème caramel was a disaster. Advice: Come back to the roots. Stop styling and start cooking !
