Exceptional restaurant that should be a must on every food lovers list. Everything was delicious and the portions were just right. Finish the meal with the best ginger creme brule we have ever eaten.

The nice combo of a melão town familiar feeling , sort of “we know each “other combined with the experimental kitchen with ambition but yet at affordable prices , in particular for the way menus. The garden in summer is simply lovely.

On our second visit to this restaurant we enjoyed another very good meal. The food was very good and beautifully presented. One small criticism is that my scallops were slightly under cooked - they needed another 10 seconds each side (Yes, I DO know exactly how to cook scallops). The Thai Green Currry soup was a clever idea & delicious. It could have been improved by using toasted coconut flakes instead of the large strips of fresh coconut which were difficult to eat with a spoon and lacked flavour. These are small points and overall the food was very good. As on our previous visit the service was very professional, formal and somewhat impersonal. The wine is overpriced - we have been in Lagos for some time and know exactly how much wine costs in the shops so it is disappointing to see the price being, in some cases, more than quadrupled. We know this is where restaurants need to make a profit but this level of mark-up is slightly OTT. They don't like you asking for tap water.

This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant but it won't be our last. The food was beautifully presented, imaginative and delicious. Some of the ingredients might have been a bit subtle for people used to big strong flavours but we found everything to be delicious. The service was attentive, professional and efficient. The dinig room is lovely, warm and very comfortable.

The tasting menu tonight was beyond expectations. I asked the waiter to convey the pladits to the kitchen after every course. The taste buds are still savoring each mouthful at the memories experienced this evening.

The service staff are very friendly and helpful but the foods is not very good. Fish soup - had 2 clams (not properly cleaned as they were gritty) and no fish. The main courses lacked flavour and desert looked and tasted like they grabbed random ingredients and put them on a plate. It was terribly over priced and was just not good food.

The food was not very creative or interesting. Everything was... fine? But not flavorful. They brought out appetizers and said, from the chef. We asked if it was included in the meal and they said no. Seems tricky!

We've dined here about 5 times, and usually love it. Tonight, the food was great, as usual, but service ultimately disappointed us. They were great until we were ready to leave, but we could not get their attention to bring us the check. arm waving, and desperate attempts were all (seemingly) strategically missed. Finally, we just got up and went to the front to ask for the check, but they had the nerve to adk us to go back to the table. Um, no. We'll return sometime on next visit, but this was not a great visit.
