9/10We had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. Only comments are they forgot the cocktails so our wine and dinner were a bit out of sync. Also, I accidentally spilled my cafe and they charged me for another one, which I thought wasn't necessary. Otherwise, a great meal and the staff was very good.

9.5/10Excellent restaurant! The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. The only minor complaint was that there was a large group that occupied the tables around us. But the food and service made up for that. We sat at a table but the counter overlooking the cooking area seemed like the most fun place to sit. Although that might make it more difficult to socialize if you have more than two people.

10/10If you came into the restaurant you directly smell the fire and smoke in a perfect dose. We really enjoyed the menu and were really surprised what is possible only cooking with fire. We definitely came back.

10/10We experienced the tasting menu with the wine pairings. It was amazing. We enjoyed the delicious food - the presentation was beautiful and creative. Our waiters were attentive and anticipated what we wanted even before we did. It was an unforgettable evening.

6.5/10Expected so much more. Fabulous decor, fully booked, dynamic open kitchen— all the ingredients of a fabulous night out. Unfortunately only one of five dishes (the oxtail) was a big hit and one was a big disaster (the raw bonito), the latter being so fishy that there was NO WAY, despite the waiter’s reassurances, that it was fresh. Which brings me to the service; snarky from appetisers onwards, following the suggestion that the bonito had not just recently jumped from the ocean onto our plates. Also inattentive, as he placed our wine bottle far from the table and then neglected to pour it at all unless we were able to catch him. We had such fantastic foodie experiences with simply fabulous service in Porto… this was not one of them.

9.5/10+1My dinner at restaurant Elemento was memorable because I asked for and received counter seating in front of the kitchen so I could watch the chef and his assistants at work. The chef was not overly friendly, but he was busy. The food was amazing at every level. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a great meal in Porto. the tasting menu was especially amazing.

8.5/10+5Food was great, and the fish excellent! Although the way of the fish was cooked was much better than the meat. Don’t get me wrong, the meat was good as well, but the disparity between the preparation of two was too big (I.e. my meat was slightly overcooked while the one of my partner was rare and soft). The personnel was very kind although some logistical issues might be improved (i.e. cleaning the table from bread crumb, and sharpening the meat knives). We will be back for sure, next time we will try the amazing bench with fire view!

9.5/10+4Great food. Had the 8 moments menu, and every course was great. Food could be a one-star. Service is just belov a one-star. Empty wine glasses e.g. Friendly but not really around.
