The chef has unashamedly gone back to basics here, cooking exclusively with wood both on the grill and in the oven. Traditional Portuguese cuisine ...

Nice service and food was very good, the light smell of the woodsmoke used for cooking is very pleasant
Had a great experience with the tasting menu and wine pairing. This restaurant was very nice! Love the room, with its old stone walls and the open kitchen, that make the staff more approachable. Food was amazing! Each dish was great and the sommelier made perfect pairings. The staff was also super friendly.
Main dishes are really amazing! Lombo de boi and corvina really beyond. Escabeche also amazing, super balanced.
Our second visit to this neighborhood gem was just as delightful as the first — we sat at the bar again, watching the chef show as they work the fires and plate an amazing array of dishes. We opted for the tasting menu to keep from having to make choices among all the options on the limited but very satisfying menu. Unlike other spots, where you might love the apps or the desserts, Every. Single. Thing. on this menu is memorable. The cured fish "snack" to start, the fishy (in a good way) risotto, dry-aged sea bass and cabbage, duck with Béarnaise, beef (and beef tongue that tasted decadently like a slow-roasted pot roast), then a sweet-tart pomegranate ice followed by the coup de foudre dessert of chocolate and caramel and I-don't-know-what else. Definitely a treat, with a well-designed wine list, nice by-the-glass choices and friendly and helpful staff.
Elemento is a sophisticated restaurant, with fine dishes. The staff is very kind and the restaurant is well located, right at downtown. The room is pleasant. The prices are a little expensive.
Very good food. Amazing tastings! Best one the sashimi and lamb loin. But in general it was awesome. Thank you so much team!
The a la carte menu looked really interesting and exciting but we went for the tasting menu. The menu was clearly well thought through and had good quality ingredients. But overall I thought the dishes were unseasoned - particularly the meat dishes. Service and atmosphere was excellent - the staff spoke great English too.
Tudo muito bom.
The entire team was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. The food was unusual without being off-putting. Each dish was explained. The food was delicious and the wine recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend!
Exquisite food, in a cozy atmosphere. Best food I had in Porto
Great experience and amazing concept. Tasting menu with a lot of care and fresh product. All the moments are worth it ! The tuna toro is the best moment on menu as a fish. The duck breast is the best moment as a meat. The service is great and kind. Knowledge about wines and care about our experience. A well done for all the kitchen that works hard with wood fire only. Recommended to sit at the counter and enjoy all the show cooking!
Overall very good. We choose the 8 moments menu, 60€, which we found a fair price for what it offered. Generally it is up to the expectations, with very few remarks, which I will state: - I had made a reservation for 2, and the table was in the balcony. We got our clothes with a smell. Though overall it was an interesting experience, we didn’t ask for it, so we should have been informed beforehand, or asked if it was ok; - Asking “do you want more bread?” makes no sense in a place like this. As the basket gets empty, you just keep filling it; - Coffee always has to be served with a piece of chocolate IMO. Even so, we were offered a sweet “bye” at the end, which almost made up to the flaw. - Though the dishes are very very good, maybe originality is something they can work on. Conclusion: a place that seeks to offer a different above-usual experience, and that generally is up to the challenge. Definitely worths a visit.
One of the very best restaurants In Porto, and probably in the country, with a unique concept, amazing food and exceptional service. I drove from Lisbon just to try it and was not disappointed. Chef Ricardo Dias Ferreira will be amongst the top Portuguese Elite very soon
Amazing experience and a must visit when in Porto. Ask for a bar seat at the kitchen it’s the best
Nice cozy restaurant where you can admire the cooks doing their work in impressive furnaces heated by wood. The whole place has a very subtle, delicious smokey smell. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive. The food was perfectly arranged with a lot of attention to detail and everything tastes excellent.
Staff was Amazing very nice and know their job The Concept is great with the open fire and the Food is delicioso especially the duck breast was great
Really good restaurant and the Food is great, but you need to check the Menu and the Food before you go. Because there’s not a lot of option “A La Carte”. Attention to detail and confection are high and that reflects on the food taste / quality.
What a Restaurant! We enjoyed a spot at the bar. This way we saw how the food was prepared, what a joy to watch! The staff are great, super friendly and professional. We had the 8-course menu with wine arrangement. It was delicious and we had a great night!
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Food is exceptional and we enjoyed having dinner looking at the kitchen. Perfect location for two person. Very professional team and I highly recommend. Definitely a must in Porto.
Amazing to see the guys cooking on fire only and prepare perfect food. Great neat place. Just go!
