This restaurant has delicious food and lovely wait staff. And a tip for anyone going, ask for the chili sauce for your grilled meats!! Worth it!

Really a disaster. When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised with the indication that, although we had made a reservation at The Fork, which was confirmed, they were not taking reservations. After another customer, who was in the same situation, asked for the complaints book, the manager said he would fix the problem. This resulted in us having to wait 35 mins. The starters were reasonable: bread, olives, cheese and some fried food. We ordered churrasco à Madureira and 1 francesinha. The francesinha was trivial and the barbecue terrible: pork ribs completely dried out; picanha (rump steak) hard and tasteless; chicken dry and without seasoning. The pineapple and the sausage got away with it. The service, though not bad, was not very captivating. We won't be back.

The food was ok. The cod was hard to cut… the place is more like a neighborhood bar for locals. Not really great atmosphere but I would go back to try a different food.

I was at the restaurant twice with my family and both visits were very positive. The family style restaurant is easily located. Service was very good and attentive. Food was freshly prepared and was good value for money. The portions were large and there was something for everyone .

Great food, very large portions. My ½ serving of cod Madurai’s was delicious but large enough for 2-3 people. Open early, we arrived at 7, place was empty, by 7:45 full

It was so tasty! Fantastic! They have big Portions, a 1/2 dose is enough, the staff was so welcoming and we have a very nice and funny time with Miguel! We will come again if we are in Porto ????????

We tried the Grilled Chicken with Rice and Fries, the quality of chicken was excellent. For desert we tried Catalan Cream, but it is not made by the restaurant, it is from some Ice cream and dessert chain called Carte D'or so it was not something special. Prices are good , the place is cozy , the service was good compared to the pressure and number of guests within the restaurant.

Great find and very close to where we were staying. They have a big menu and as others have said, the portions are huge! I had the Cod covered in Corn Meal and I ordered the 1/2 portion and it would have fed two. Very tasty but a bit too much salt. Presentation was very nice. I would return.
