8/10Our usual and very friendly Walter was absent. A pitty, the team present was less efficiënt. In most Spanish restaurants the dishes are served very quickly, so we order step by step, to slow down. The waitress did not like that and afterwards we were sort of ignored. The food however was very good.

5/10The restaurant was like a big eating room cold ambiance strong white light. No candles to make it just a bit cozy. The menu was not to interesting and the fish was so dry that we have to change it. The staff was friendly and service minded.

8/10Many years since we last visited this venue and little has changed in the interim, although our experience this visit was much improved. Service was prompt, food quality and presentation excellent and prices for two courses, wine and coffees.... moderate. Having said all of that the venue is totally without warmth or ambience which is disappointing given our experiences in various other Paradores.

9.5/10restaurant has lovely setting. both evening meals we ate were delicious, good wine menu. breakfasts are excellent NB the first sitting however is 20.30 for dinner not 20.00 as indicated on the Fork booking platform

Te cautivarán las vistas a la vega y a la ciudad de Antequera. Sentado a la mesa del restaurante Marmitia del Parador de Antequera podrás ver, a través de los amplios ventanales, un precioso paisaje que te hará disfrutar la inmensidad de las tierras andaluzas desde la atalaya en la que se ubica. Es un parador moderno y agradable, y el restaurante sigue esa línea, con un espacio muy luminoso que te gustará para saborear una cocina tradicional. Si vas durante el buen tiempo no te pierdas platos refrescantes como la porra antequerana o el pío antequerano. De segundo prueba las Costillas de cerdo al horno, cous-cous y salsa agridulce o los Chipirones asados, habas salteadas, jamón y ali oli de ajo negro, y termina con un postre emblemático del Parador: Bienmesabe antequerano, sorbete de mandarina y vino de Mollina. En el Marmitia disfruta sol andaluz y el encanto de su gastronomía ¡Reserva ya!
