    A pleasant room with garden view. Food was very enjoyable but service was slow and waitresses showed little interest in us. We waited over 15 minutes to order our first and second courses, and the waitress never returned to take an order for dessert and coffee so we got up and walked off to the cafe by the courtyard where service was prompt and with a smile.

    Tomates insípidos, navajas de bote y duras, fabada regular, croquetas congeladas…una pena!! No se come bien, desde luego si se compara con otros paradores.

    Excellent choice of local Asturian dishes served really well. Lovely ambience throughout. An amazing building which is worth arriving for early and taking a look around, as we did. Pre dinner drinks in the courtyard which is really atmospheric. The Asturian cheese platter as a starter was interesting and tasty, with the bean and monkfish stew quite stunning. Excellent service and acceptable pricing for a restaurant of this type.

    Sitio muy recomendable! Muy bonito, buenas vistas, y muy buena comida La única pega que pongo seria que no nos recomendaron bien las cantidades, puesto que éramos dos personas y nos excedimos al pedir , Sobro mucha comida

    Tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para que nos tomarán la comanda, también la espera fue muy larga entre platos y para la cuenta. Decidimos no tomar ni postre ni cafés porque con dos niñas se nos hacía muy tarde. No sé si es problema del servicio o de cocina.

    Recomendar a todos si tienen oportunidad de, no solo comer ,sino alojarse en éste magnifico parador, antiguo monasterio de S. Pedro de Villanueva excelente todo él, saborearan el paisaje t paisanaje asturiano degustando productis de calidad y proximidad magnificame te elaborados.

    Hola El restaurante muy chiulo muy bonito Los empleados también Pero la comida muy muy mala Le falta gustar la comida ni sal Aver de primero un salteado de verduras incluso la berenjena con sardina mezclada luego una parecida de pure de calvacin parecia que era una manchita El segundo pedi entrecot de ternera le he pedido muy muy hecho pero tampoco era pero bien al lado las patatas bravas con demasiada gusto de hierba ni podias tocar la segunda con bueno parecido que era hechas de alguin que no tiene gusto papilas gustatiba Pasta para los niños muy ricas a las vistas pero con demasiada grasa con tomate y carne pero muchismas grasa noce no te faltaba mas de tomar era un plato para mas de 10 persona Las salsa para carne pescado era la misma de calabaza ni siquiera podias tocarla demaciado fuerte en hierbas parecido que tomas acido sulfúrico Como le he dicho deben que cambiar el chef ho alguin que come de su empleados para ver si su estómago agunta Lociento pero ay que cambiar a alguien que hacen la comida

    The hotel itself is stunning, but the restaurant, in terms of furniture (canteen style) and decor (walls were peeling) has the feel of having been done on the cheap and poorly maintained. Service was generally good despite the fact that no-one seemed to be overseeing proceedings. However, whilst a high markup is to be expected to a certain extent, 14 euros for a starter of tomatoes and what looked suspiciously like tinned fish was beyond the pale. At present this restaurant does not square with the rest of the hotel either in terms of appearance or value for money.

    Fuimos a un menú de la Restaurant Week. menú típico asturiano, con fabada en arroz con leche. Sin ser para tirar cohetes, estaba rico. La atención, bien.

    No problems- at all. If we had to comment about anything I'd say that the decor could be more condusive to our surroundings. Not at all as great as the rest of the abbey. The restaurant could have been anywhere, in any modern hotel instead of an historic building. Apart from that small observation the food was delicious and I would just love love love the recipe for the apple vichyssoise.
