7/10I am very disappointed with food quality We have been going there for years. Service and location view is excellent. I was very disappointed that I was not allowed to charge my electric car while there for over 2 hours They only allow residence of the hotel even though I told them that I have been an Amigo member since 2002

10/10Everything was excellent as usual, food, drinks, staff, ambiance, bar, restaurant, breakfast buffet, al cart lunch and sea view were exquisite and worth the price, but was disappointed to have for the first time to pay fees for leaving the car in the hotel car park, which was free for as long as I can remember. Parador charging people for leaving their cars in the car park and going out without using the hotel facilities is justified, but the hotel management should exempt people who use the hotel facilities from paying car park fees provided they show receipts of payments in the hotel facilities.

6.5/10The appetizer and first course were fine, but my main course, tuna, which was supposed to be medium, was well done and therefore overcooked for my taste. The chocolate dessert was composed of three items and one of them was satisfactory, We have had better chocolate ice cream from Mercadona and the "brownie" was a devil's food cake with dripping frosting.

7/10The Parador likes to leave to the imagination as to who is in the kitchen and doing what. It’s very hit and miss with the courses at times good and others not. Try to avoid the fish as a general rule (over cooked). The ham one day good the next dry and served cold. This was replaced by the waiter but the mistake had been made. Deserts generally good and recommended.

10/10We flew from Birmingham to Malaga then drove to the Parador de Nerja so we were grateful that we had pre-booked a table. As it happened we were late due to delays with car hire at the airport. No problem - when we checked into the hotel the very friendly guy on reception phoned through to the restaurant and the problem was sorted. When we finally got to the restaurant our table was waiting for us. The service was excellent throughout and the menu very enticing. Lots of traditional and classical items to choose from and the bottle of Rioja we chose was excellent! I finished off my meal with an espresso and a cigar bought to me on the terrace by a very helpful waiter. All in all a very enjoyable experience for my wife and I and we are looking forward to our next meal there!
