We had an excellent night at O Fado. The food was good, the service was great, and the music was amazing. Two performers had 2 performances and sang 5 songs each performance for a total of 20 songs. Each performance was well spaced to allow for eating, talking, and enjoying the night. This was a great experience!! Thank you!

Amazing service, food, ambience, and show! I didn’t quite know what to expect but the reviews did keep my expectations a little high, and the actual experience met them all. In total there were 3 performances, and we were about to leave after the first one, but the server told us the show was just beginning and didn’t let us go lol glad he didn’t! Hundred percent recommend this restaurant.

We ordered tasting menu and it was delicious, well presented and paired with great wines. Andre and Ricardo ensure the service during the whole dîner and Fado performance which lasts until midnight. They were very professional, efficient and listener to the guests preferences. Me and my husband had an awesome night. Place not to miss for authentic experience.

My partner, Dan, and I had such a wonderful time here this evening listening to the fado and appreciate the service and ambience. Andre was absolutely amazing and made us laugh so much with his wit and thoughtfulness. Thank you for the unforgettable night.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was excellent as was the service. Our server went above and beyond to make sure my mom and aunt were taken care of. It was my mother’s 60th birthday and they brought out a dessert for her and the musicians and performers sang to her in Portuguese which she really enjoyed. The good portions were large which was a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend you visit this restaurant to listen to typical fado music and eat excellent food!

What an absolute treat and a real highlight of our time in Porto. The fado music was spectacular. Even better, the food and wine lived up to the stunning performance. My husband's octopus was the best he'd ever had! The wine was perfectly matched. Service was fun and very attentive. I just can't say enough good things about O Fado. Treat yourself and go!

We found this restaurant online and are absolutely glad we did! The food is excellent, choices are all appetising, the place is clean, feels authentic and warm. The service is very good and respectful of Fado singers and musicians (starters/fado/main course/fado/dessert/fado) as much as all clients. A big thank you to the staff as they were all very caring and providing guidance as to which wine may be better associated with your plate, I have rarely seen such good staff and ambiance in a restaurant. A special thanks to Ricardo who was incredibly kind and made this evening memorable too. Prices may seem high when one is not used to those (starters around 4e/main 27e/dessert 8e) but if you consider it could be the regular price + fado performers and the food is really fresh and good, it's all worth it. Please note the first Fado performance started after 9pm so if you book a table at 8pm, don't get impatient not seeing artists straight away.

Best service I have ever seen, personal but not too much, professional but still humane. Good authentic show. LBV Porto as a dessert - an absolute must. 10/10
