10/10We discovered this little gem 2 years ago - since then we come here and also took some business partners here just recently; the dishes are delicious, the wines beyond expectation - all local wines and very fairly priced - the service and hospitality welcoming:) Will definitely be back again and spread the news:)

10/10We booked a table for Christmas Eve, just based on the reviews alone, we had never been here before. From the moment my hubby and I walked in I knew we’d made the right decision, the maitre d was so friendly (the chefs husband in fact, ie. the owner) but everyone was very friendly to be honest, even some other guests who sat nearby. (Sometimes you can feel people are negative towards tourists but this was the complete opposite). The owner took the time to explain any questions we had about the dishes which was very helpful indeed. They also had an English menu accessed through the QR code which was great. We ordered the potato bravas, chicken strips and mains I tried the rice dish with ribs (a rival to paella) and my hubby had the beef entrecôte. We thoroughly enjoyed all dishes.. especially the rival to paella and to finish it all off we had the most amazing chocolate dessert (the English translation said “chocolate textures”) which we shared, was almost sorry we didn’t have one each! We also had coffee. Overall, It was a delightful experience from the food, the ambience and all the staff who were so warm and friendly (even though some didn’t have any English, they tried). I would have no hesitation in recommending here and it will be added to our favourites!

9.5/10Excellent food, wine and service. The wine recommendation was perfect, the service was very welcoming and professional. This was a truely great experience and we shall be most definitey back next time we are in Alicante.

9.5/10We really enjoyed this restaurant. As a family of three we met up with a friend and had a very enjoyable meal. The staff were excellent. Food and presentation also excellent as a good introduction to Spanish cuisine. We arrived early so it was quite quiet which was nice for us.

10/10We came here first a couple of years ago for a memorable tasting meal. This time was equally good, fantastic interesting food beautifully cooked and presented. The service is lovely, with knowledgeable wine recommendations. The icing on the cake it is also really good value.

9/10Tte tapas dishes were beatiful creations, .and tasted very good. The patron showed great hospitality. The young waitress did not change glasses when I switched from rose to white wine, which was the only small flaw on a perfect evening. An address to remember.

10/10Excellent service and fabulous food. The restaurant catered for our ten year old daughter who enjoyed her plate of fish and chips with freshly squeezed orange juice. We really enjoyed our tapas, octopus which was very tender, caramelised fois gras with ice cream, duck, and a pork dish. Accompanied by a local wine. Highly recommended. Try the Bodegas faelo monastrel. We will return when next in Alicante.
