We had the classic tasting menu and it was incredible. From the beef tartar to the sea bass to the dessert - everything was meticulously prepared and perfectly paired with wine. And the service was bar none the best. Incredible experience.

Again and again I am coming back… because it’s the go to restaurant for fine dining in north of Portugal, especially when you are into seafood and fish. I don’t even want to say nor more. Perfect evening as always. Thank you very much Paulo and the Rio Team. Daniel for always talking me into drinking the best wines.

I just had one of my bests Sunday Lunch experience ever. I already wrote enough about this place, me coming back as often as I can should be statement enough. Hands down the best place in north Portugal for fine dining! And yes, I am biased. Because it’s my personal favorite, no matter what, you should go there! Period!

As flight attendants we have experienced a few Michelin star restaurants around the world on our layovers. This by far deserves to be included and surpassed many we have tried. It is so worth the visit. Wait till you see what is waiting for you on your table when you arrive. I won’t spoil the surprise. Adding to the tasting menu was a joyous selection of old world music and meeting the chef at the end was the highlight of the night.

Just took a short detour on my way from Porto Airport into the city… because I just love everything about this restaurant. Had two mains, fish for sure, Paulo is a master in everything, but fish dishes are even better. Great bottle of wine. Best lunch you can imagine. I am coming back…as usual! Thank you Rio!

The food is amazing. I am a vegetarian and every time, I feel special care is given to my meal. The service is impeccable. Wine recommendations are perfect. Every time I eat here I am more and more impressed.

Very calming and relaxed atmosphere. Service was as expected from a Michelin restaurant. Plating and taste were impeccable. We did a la carte and every dish was delicious with various hints of different ingredients.

The restaurant is small and peaceful. It offers a tasting menu and à la carte options. The dishes are creative and beautifully presented. The waiters are very friendly and can explain the menu items well. The price is a bit high for Portuguese standards but in line with the quality of the food and service.

We went here for my wife's birthday and had an incredible dinner and wine pairing. We highly recommend the tasting menu. Chef André came to the table after dinner and had a nice conversation with us. What a wonderful guy. We will be back next time we come to the Vila do Conde area.

I loved the experience. The staff were wonderful and extremely knowledgeable to what they were serving. Suggestions were made regarding the wine pairings which also worked well. The only slight negative was the coffee. It tasted like instant Nescafé. A proper espresso after such a wonderful meal would have capped what would have had been a perfect experience

This restaurant is far from the center of oporto where we are staying, so we were undecided if to try it , BUT IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! The best and most original Food i have had for a while, and i consider myself a real foodie. The sea menú was absolutely fantastic, withe the best quality of ingredients, and a flawless execution. An it was so easy to call an uber to go and to be picked up! U MUST NOT SKIP THIS ONE!

This is a gourmet restaurant. If you are expecting large portions, go somewhere else. The food is exquisite and beautifully presented. Service amazing. We loved it.
