Very good
Looks like a cafe but the food and service was excellent. I had the vegetarian salad which was light and fresh followed by the tomato and cheese pasta , so tasty.
If I go again to Mestre I will definitely come back to Da Tura. There are options for vegan and the food was extremely good. The quantity was also OK and the service was kind and available to answer our questions. I certainly recommend this restaurant.
poor service! We can never expect the waiters to response our demands immediately. And they made us waiting for 10 more minutes to pay our bills. In addition, I never met such a noisy restaurant like this! I could even not hear clearly what my friend talked!!! This restaurant ruined my night successfully in Venice
No update from waiter durimg very lomg wait for food...no response from waiter when making eye contact we wanted something...walked by by us...never received bill...no follow up with us after receiving meal...none. He slammed bread bowl down on table...no apology...after waiting 20 minutes upon finishing meal...and after never being asked how meal was or if we needed anything further...we Had to leave and figure out where and how to pay bill...had to explain to cashier what items had for her before receiving total...thought I worked there at one point... Epic failure in every way as a server and restaurant. Will never recommend...food not bad but awful service.
Veramente buono
Decent restaurant attached to the Best Western Plus Hotel at Mestre. Convenient location to have a meal while waiting for the train or to avoid the crowds in Venice. Food is decent and the service is good.
Wonderful food 10/10
A great find , excellent modern Italian food and we were made very welcome
Ottimo come sempre.
Il mio preferito a Mestre.
Seafood was good enough! It could be better they have more steak menu for meat lovers.
Fantastic service. Couldn't have done more.
We had pretty high hopes as I booked a table for two for my girlfriends 20th birthday. The restaurant has been mentioned in Michelin-guide, so it sounded like a good choice. As we got there we had to wait a little bit and I was offered a cup of coffee, before escorted to the table (good call from the waiter). We started off with bottle of water and nice Gavi di Gavi white wine. For first course we both ordered Mussels with Saffron and potatoes a "Venetian dish" and the taste was quite bland and the dish lacked imagination. For seconds I took "Seafood Paella" and my girlfriend took simple steak with rosemary. Paella wasn't what I would call a real paella, more like under-seasoned rice with seafood tossed around, decorated with parsley. Girlfriends "steak" was flat as a folded napkin and the whole course looked something you could get from Finnish gas-station. For dessert we got lemon and meringue tart and for me lemon sorbet. Honestly it was our only decent food we got.
