Allowed to have other guests make far too much noise - the food was good but I left with a headache. Good food, great eine list. The room needs sound proofing!!

Arrived prepared to do potentially the chefs "surpise" 8 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Informed ahead of both of us being vegetarian and being asked again upon seating by the hotess it didn't seem to matter. When our server arrived we had to explain it all over again only to be informed the only options were 2 courses plus dessert. (Considering they were tasting menu sizes it was extremely lacking. We were never asked how we liked our food. To attempt to order glasses of wine was like pulling teeth. Felt ostracized and unwelcome.

This was an amazing experience and will probably be remembered as one of the top two or three meals we have ever had. We were in town during the Alba Truffle Festival and able to enjoy the chef’s tasting menu with a supplement of white truffles on every dish. Every course we had was wonderful and the wine pairings were exceptional. Our waiter, Vincent, made the experience even more wonderful. His knowledge of local wines was exceptional. Highly recommended and worth every penny that we paid.

Very creative and delicious flavor combinations in the menu. A different dining experience for anyone passing through or staying in Alba. Expensive but special. Outstanding dishes were the duck and shrimp appetizers and the veal Milanese.

Best fine dining in Alba, excepting Piazza Duomo. Terrific service, imaginative food and lovely location. Excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

When visiting such places you expect something, but this time we were disappointed with the dishes perfectly served but nothing special except a bill to be paid for.

I will chouse the tradisjonal tasting meny next time. Some dishes were experimental on the gastronomic meny. On others the tastes was fantastic. The wines were for the prise very good.

Great service staff paying a lot of attention to many details. The food was a mixed experience. I had the traditional menu. The starter was outstanding; the pasta was fine, although the combination of flavors was a bit bizarre. The main plate, Brasato, was completely ruined by the sauce with an extremely strong licorice flavor, which also ruined the (previously good) wine experience, as the licorice flavor was so sticky on the tongue. The dessert was panna cotta (ok) with a penetrantly sweet sauce (IMO uneatable). Overall, too much effort is spent on the appearance, but the flavors are mostly disappointing. A minor detail: The square toilet looks cool, but is very uncomfortable.

Un'esperienza unica nel suo genere. Il tempo si ferma e il cibo assume un'altra dimensione. Non ho altre parole per descrivere, è semplicemente da provare, riprovare e riprovare.

This is gastronomic dining at its best. Amazing food served with appropriate theatrics: a succession of little ’gifts from the chef' began the meal, each a mouthful of explosive flavours exquisitely presented; a sublime pasta dish was served on a pillow of warm 'air of Alba' (hazelnut aromas wafted up with each mouthful); and a very generous serving of Alba white truffles on the unctuous pressed veal cheek. We were one of only two couples to enjoy this feast on a. Monday night. Lucky us! We were treated kindly by wonderful wait staff who spoke excellent English and who took care to ensure we had a wonderful experience.
