A very nice place with perfect service. The grandiose menu was prepared with great attention to detail. Every bite was a revelation. The wines served with each course were a celebration in themselves.

Overall a very pleasant dining experience with friendly and able service. We had the main 5 course tasting menu with matching wine and cocktail pairings. The Amuse Bouche were very creatively served and great tasting, really capturing the essence of the courses to come. The 5 courses were a unique voyage through classic Venetian ingredients, elegantly plated and well constructed flavours on the whole. That being said, some elements of some of the courses fell a touch short. The best example of this is from the 3rd course, which was a pasta dish with sardines, where the sauce just fell a little flat, lacking the intensity of flavour which the dish called for in my opinion. In itself this wouldn't be a "problem", but the pricing puts the restaurant in competition with other tasting menus in the Michelin Guide, and in my experience of such menus, this was very close to nearly being there, but not quite. Which perhaps explains its absence from the guide. That being said, I am not a guide inspector or a food critic. The wine and cocktail pairings were great, as one would expect the wines were entirely Italian with many from the regions surrounding Veneto as well as Veneto itself. Two special mentions in terms of the pairings were the Cocktail pairing, which in our case was a dry gin martini, paired with a pasta dish. It was a surprise to receive such a simple, classic cocktail with our meal, but it worked very well. Secondly, the wine pairings aren't preselected and are left to the judgement of the staff depending on each guest's preference. In our case, this let our waiter choose a more experimental pairing with our final course, which was a hit. Side note: the glass and tableware were stunning, often handmade pieces. Really excellent, and contributed to the beautiful presentation. Overall the service was slick, friendly and very professional. Each dish was presented and described competently, water was topped up diligently, and as previously mentioned, the wine pairings were excellent. The ONE blip in the service was with the bread. The bread was finished shortly before service to be served warm, and from the top of the bread it was clear that one side of the loaf had just caught slightly. The charred flavour from the bread really didn't marry well with the delicate flavours of the seafood. When we asked if we could get a replacement, we were told that the colour of the bread was to do with the flour used (it looked like a Rye Sourdough or similar), which while generally true in terms of the colour of the loaf, did not account for the darker colour on one side of the top of the loaf. Not wanting to argue over the bread and spoil an otherwise lovely meal, we said no more and the waiter left. After eating the non-burnt side of the bread we moved the remainder to the edge of the table to make room. A few minutes later the waiter came and changed the bread, unsurprisingly, this one was uniform in colour and delicious. When you are paying 100€+ per head for food, there is simply no point in arguing over the bread. Unfortunately it meant that such a tiny and petty issue left a somewhat sour taste behind. The restaurant is in a great location, we had a table in the Garden, overlooking a canal on a quiet side street. The table settings were nice, but a small comment is that the chairs were made of a woven material, which after sitting in for a nice meal left a not so lovely imprint on our legs. I'm sure if we had asked, they would have offered a cushion or similar. Finally I think the garden could have used a little more green, to make it feel more private and comfortable. I would recommend visiting, but going for the weekday lunch menu which is a bit better value for money, and would still give you the opportunity to enjoy many of the highlights the restaurant offers.

Fantastic degustation meal. They have a vegetarian version as well which was excellent. High end find dinning - not a cheap experience but in the expected price range for such quality and interesting food. Highly recommended.

It was a special evening for us in Venice at Wisteria. From the start the level of service and attention to detail was obvious from every staff member. We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing and it was an imaginative, inventive and sometimes surprising array of dishes with presentation second to none. Considering the amuse bouche, exquisite sorbet and petit fours we had with the coffee, it was good value. And we were introduced to the chef at the end of our meal. No hesitation in recommending and would go there again. Cocktails at the Danieli, boat trip along the Grand Canal and dining at Wisteria, a perfect evening.

Highly recommend ristorante in Venice. We only tasted some signature dish with our dinner since we had booked performances tickets need to finished our dinner within 1 hours. Recommend to try the tasting menu which has 5 courses per person or 7 courses per person. Still enjoyed our rush dinner, tasing fantastic and have good experiences in the last night in Venice

Outstanding restaurant- exceptionally creative bordering with perfection regarding the meal. Wine is great but could be a notch higher in quality. Astounding value overall. Would come back any day.

A restaurant with ambitions, clearly gunning for the top accolades (*, **?...). The food is definitely in this kind of arena grade, all of it at least very good and in some cases exceptional. Value for money is incredible, the 65 Euro set menu is pretty much unbeatable in terms of quality / price, I dont know of anywhere even remotely close in terms of such good food at such a reasonable price. The service is also very good (possibly a bit too formal / cold). However, having a trashy Robbie Williams CD on loop as background music was pretty offputting (borderline unforgivable). If they can iron out a couple of the atmosphere wrinkles (warm up the service, get some less offensive tunes) this place will be stellar.
