8/10Food was delicious, but it seems to be bit overpriced . We ordered pasta, pizza vip and shrimp carpaccio, shrimps should be cleaned out properly from the spine side. Overall good

6/10Not very friendly. Felt like they were doing us a favour by serving us! Food was okay but the road it is on is hellishly busy and there was no aircon on inside which forced us onto the pavement!

4.5/10Palermo is home to many far tastier and more respectable restaurants, Please don't waste your time coming here. Quality is definitely poorer than advertised and service is barely scraping a pass. Love yourself today and look elsewhere. After waiting over 120 minutes, we received small bucket of questionable fries and a dish of pasta with basic cooking cream. No exaggerations here. We went to the restaurant knowing it had good reviews so we wanted to test it out. After having reserved it through The Fork we (3 guests) showed up in time the day after. The place is very cute but feels fairly small so it was pretty packed with only around 30 people, and our reserved table was not available as we arrived at the agreed time. Eventually, the waiter decided to put 2 tables together and let us sit down. We took a look at the online menu as they didn't have any paper ones and every dish appeared absolutely delicious. We ordered fries, panelle and crocchette as a starter, pasta with crab, rice with mushrooms (which were actually all out for the day as we learned afterwards, so we decided to go for "busiate dello chef" instead) and a fried mix of fish as second course. After waiting about 40 minutes at the table, the waiter brought two cups of sauces (mayo and ketchup) and the anticipation of our starters arriving was souring. 10, 20 further minutes pass... still nothing. When it became clear that this indication of arrival was in fact based on false hope alone, one of us decided to request that they provide us with some bread at least, since we were starving and somehow the sight of those little cups of sauce on the table only intensified the unabated appetite. With a short delay, the bread arrived and helped us last a further 20 minutes until finally our starter made its glorious entrance: a bucket of squished fries unceremoniously dumped next to crocchette and re-fried panelle in fish oil. Yes, you read it right: the fries had been re-fried in the same oil where fish was fried in previously. The smell was unmistakable, and random unidentified pieces of potentially calamari tentacles and shrimp antennas were lying unashamed beneath layers of squished fries. Probably, it wouldn't have been a welcome surprise for a vegetarian guest. We informed the waiters and to be fair to them they refunded the dish, which was decent. However, the long wait followed by that dish was tragic to say the least. Continuing on with the first course. We had to wait so long it felt like forever. At least a further 60 minutes. When it finally arrived, we were shocked at the simplicity of the dishes in front of us: the "busiate dello chef" which was supposed to be the signature dish of the restaurant, literally looked and tasted like (not fresh) pasta with cooking cream with some pistachio and cheese sprinkled on top. The fettuccine with crab were just indescribably low quality. The taste was gone off, the crab was not fresh and on top of that, the crab claws were laid there on the dish without any help whatsoever to actually open them up and eat what's inside. This dish alone was 22 euros by the way. Totally crazy for usual restaurants in Palermo. As a local, I felt ashamed and disappointed. After requesting some pincers to open them up (and dreadfully regretting it shortly after as the taste was, indeed, not fresh) we asked for the second course to be cancelled and just left the restaurant in a hurry, about 3 hours after we arrived. Thankfully we found a nice ice cream shop nearby and were able to "fix" the unfortunate experience we had at lunch, but I would never advise anyone to go through what we did that day. I hope this review was useful to someone and thank you for making it this far.

10/10Lovely local place with great Pizza. One issue if eating outside is that it's quite close to a main road. You actually get used to it pretty quickly, but some people might not like rhe noise. The crab pasta we had as a starter was excellent - not a lot of crab, but some prawns, some very tasty sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. The aubergine starter was excellent, actually we've had this dish several times in different places and it's always very good -local ingredients i guess :) My catch of the day was nice soft fish, well grilled. Best value is the pizza, my wife had one of the vip pizzas with ham mozzarella and pistachios, it was huge, very tasty and the crust seemed to have a filling, very nice indeed. I only had one glass of wine, feudo arancio grillo - pretty good, worth a try. Thanks for a lovely meal
