Very disappointing. Food wasn’t bad but portions very small. And to then charge for the amuse bouche, which by the way was not pleasant was unbelievable. Starter served before the drinks arrived.

The restaurant itself is nice and the staff very welcoming. They have a lot of wines which you can taste using a self service card system which while fun is a bit of a gimmick. The wines were quite average. The food was disappointing. The antipasti was bland to the point of being completely tasteless - even the fish. I had the courgette flours which were deep fried in what tasted like old, stale oil and were a greasy mess. The mains were better but still average especially for the price which was on the high side.

Local restaurant away from the touristy area with great ambience, delicious food and a unique wide wine selection. They have a sommelier on site to help with choices and the prices are very reasonable. We definitely enjoyed our dinner here!

My husband and I had an excellent dinner at RIVEnoteca. The owners were so accommodating, greeting us at the door. We learned about their wine selections from the region and were seated in the cutest dining area. Our food was top notch from our appetizer through dessert and our waiter assisted us with selections of different wines to try. It was a beautiful evening with beautiful food and atmosphere. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Como. We will definitely be back!!

We found RIVEnoteca by chance checking restaurants around as it was raining very badly. We were so lucky there was a slot for dinner! The place is small, private and super cozy. The service is 10/10, the guy that served our table was extremely nice and made the experience very enjoyable. The wine is really good & the way the wine served is very innovative and cool (I recommend the Lake Garda one), the starter & mains were delish. Will super recommend to anyone coming to Como!

Neat concept in wine sampling, though a bit pricey overall. Food was tasty and the service quite good. One down side, although we were seated outside al fresco, the tables were small and a bit flimsy, the A/C vent was blowing hot air on us, and the light over the doorway was blindingly bright. Probably would go back again, but sit inside and explore the wines in more comfort.

Disappointment in Como. The concept of working with local products is great. The service however… we didn’t feel welcome at all. We got wine when main course was almost finished. No friendly word at any moment. Good products. Bad service.

The small restaurant was a good and nice solution for a romantic dinner for my bday. The dishes were delicious and they looked nice. We took a glass of wine to each kind of dish that were recommended by the nice staff. I also appreciated the description of them, this made the atmosphere more pleasant and unique. I was a very nice and elegant place.

The lake fish mixed appetizer for two was spectacular! Such an amazing variety of tastes. The food was simply delicious. The sommelier gave great suggestions - we indulged in a local Riesling. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Lombard Italian region experience.

Felt more then welcome and enjoyed every wine and all te food! Beautiful street, a bit away from the croud. Definitely I will go again whenever in Como.
