we have booked the table at the restaurant spontaneously in the evening. All dishes were amazingly delicious, my seafood platter was huge and I struggled to finish, doesn't happen very often. courtesies of the house like a glass of prosecco and a small appetizer were a nice plus. we can imagine that at nice weather outside sitting next to the sea would be nice experience as well.

The restaurant is located next to the sea. We decided to have dinner inside due to the weather. The interior was simple. We got offered a sparkling wine of the house. We had different sorts of seafood, which all tasted very fresh. The size of the portions was perfect. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay which tasted great. We had some limpet rice on the side which was good. Very good seafood!

This is a quiet and unpretentious restaurant close to the cruise terminal but in the "wrong" direction for the town centre. the atmosphere is welcoming, the service is wonderful and the food is exceptional. if you're in Funchal, it's a must do for seafood fans. Don't miss it. We booked via "the fork" app. Prices are very competitive. 10/10

Down by the ocean, quiet, perfectly situated, - an absolute winner. My wife and I had Mix Grilled Fish with vegetables and some other extras. Everything was very tasteful.

My husband loved his seafood. The fish soup was good. I had the madeiran tuna twice. First time lovely, second time quite different and chewy - so they need to be more consistent on this.

service was excellent with on the house bubbly plus a taster , we had the fish stew for two it was enough to feed 4 people , they offered to save it for takeaway so be prepared for large portions . overall would recommend
