Rocha

The service was very good and the food delicious. We've ordered caldeirada a rocha de marisco that was for 2 people but it could easily have been for 3. There was also lulas and robalo assado com batata assada, that was very good. We didn't want any starters because we knew food would be enough. Strongly recommend at a good price.

Let's face it. Peniche is not a beautiful city. Not even close. If you see photos from 1940/50 you'd notice little has changed. So the view from the restaurant (first floor) towards the harbor is what it is. Only the seagulls flying close by add a bit of flair. Besides the food I also value the setting and it is average. Now let's talk about the food. If you choose fish or seafood you can't go wrong. In particular the "cataplana" is wonderful and even if it says 2 pax can easily serve 3 people.

Very nice restaurant. Food was delicious . We had arroz marisco for main course. Waiter on second floor was very nice and kind. Definitely coming back when I will visit Peniche again

Sincere staff, fresh fish, and excellent sangria (get the frutos vermelhos espumante)! Fish soup is also delightful.

The Restaurant Rocha in Peniche was a great experience (we‘ve been there already several times). The staff is very friendly & fast, the whole setting is quite welcoming, and we really like the good in there - try the „clams“, it’s totally worth it! We‘ll definitely come back

The best seafood rice I ever ate!! Small typical place on the Main Street, prices good for quality, really good service!! Need to book table in advance otherwise you will have to be in line!
