I can only warmly recommend this simple, efficient, authentically Portuguese restaurant in which my brother and I spent 5 very pleasant dinners with a welcoming team and classic dishes from Porto and Portugal, at the best place i.e. right at the bar. Enjoy!

This is an excellent local Portuguese restaurant that is cheap with great food. This place is not fancy so don’t try and put those expectations on them. Only mark down I have is the bread was stale.

The service was great and very fast and as all the other reviews said the portions were huge! My friend and I got wine and meals and only paid €20. If you’re looking for a laid back Portuguese restaurant this is the place!

What a great little restaurant. A neighborhood gem that was lively and welcoming. The food was delicious.We had the fried fish and the grilled baccalau. Both were tasty. All options had a choice of full or half serving. Service was good. The place was filled.

We were meeting some friends in Porto and chose Roma based on the positive reviews and the Portuguese type cooking. They did not disappoint. We had a really enjoyable evening in a friendly, laidback environment. The food was plentiful and tasty and and great value for money. Highly recommended.

The perfect “locals” restaurant: excellent food, friendly service, charming dining room, reasonable prices, more locals than tourists, and the right amount of bustle. We used the Fork reservation and our reservation was waiting for us. You might want to go when the restaurant opens because it fills quickly after that.

Helpful staff the 1/2 plates on menu are massive, thankfully they pointed this out when I went to order the full plate. Was busy with locals which is always a good sign.

Very sweet staff. Tasty and hot food—tasted home made with care. Locals eat here so that’s always a good sign. If you order the 15€ steak, beware it is truly HUGE!!! But good. I’d eat here again
