Salad Bar was good, unfortunately hot food on the salad bar was only Luke warm disappointing. My Pumpkin soup & Garlic Bread was very good and hot! Excellent! Unfortunately we were not happy at all with the plate of half a dozen oysters Kilpatrick, far too spicy and oysters were not cooked. Not sure if we would return as the evening was disappointing and there was no cheaper plain meals for pensioners or discounts.

My husband had ordered a steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious and tender, however, the mash was cold and hard and inedible. The rest of the meals were very nice.

My family had a great dining experience at Runcorn Tavern! The food was scrumptious and the staff was polite. We had a great time and will surely come back for more. The food came in fast considering that it was quite busy because it was a Friday night. Highly recommended!

Consistently courteous, helpful & fast service, quality food at a reasonable price, (even better for lunch specials) and the extensive salad bar is a special treat! Reminds me of the old sizzlers franchise ????????????

Most remarkable was the friendly and helpful staff that made us feel welcome. The surroundings were clean, comfortable and attractive with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu had a wide variety of inviting choices with access to the salad bar a bonus. Bar service was first class.

We have dined at Runcorn Tavern many times and this time it was the busiest night I have seen. However the service and food quality did not drop. Furthermore they knew to serve the kids meals first to diners so we don’t have hangry kids. Quality of the food was good except my Thai beef salad dressing was on the salty side this time. Well done to the team at Runcorn Tavern!

We were in a table of 8. While the meal service was great, our orders for coffee left much to be desired. in fact, when two orders did not arrive after half an hour, upon questioning it was found the staff simply did not make up those orders as if they never existed. Someone needs to buy some "Male/'Female" toilet signs. It's impossible for someone who has never been there before (as was the case with our group) to find them without having to go up to the servery and ask where the hell the toilets are.

The salad buffet is nearly empty. No fruits, even no tortilla chips which are easy to fill up. Ask the staff, and they said soon. Wait another 20 minutes, nothing. Just say the kitchen is really busy.

We ordered 3 of the Seafood Platters and 1 Rib Fillet and although all looked nice when came to the table taste was different. Fried foods were limp when should be crispy and the prawns were very ordinary. Seafood sauce had a funny taste to it. I guess the only nice part was the chips but they weren't very hot also it took forever for our meals to come out and first the steak came then probably 7 mins later the platters turned up. Very dissapointed.

I had the toughest eye mignon ever. I ordered museum rare but it was welcome and burnt outside. Also, the meat was smell bad. I spoken to the manager but she said I should have informed them earlier. The meat was already quite small portion when it served anyway though. My 45 dollars waisted

The Duck was fantastic. Yummy ????. All Team Members very friendly and welcoming. Tran was amazing at the bar, please recognise him as a very friendly and amazing service.

We were surprised to see you can order a meal and then the buffet is included. The prices were ok and they have 4 kids meals to choose from for $12. We were impressed with the $1 kids gaming machine as they all get a prize (when nor ally they just take your money). We chose this venue for Friday night dinner due to a party booking on July. The event co ordinator spoke with us about thr ballroom hire. Only downside was disabled bathroom smelt of smoke so someone could have smoked in there or just close to the smoking area. A little disappointing when your using this facility with 2 kids. We will be back.

We have been to Runcorn Tavern and have nearly always enjoyed our meals. On this recent visit 4th May, we were disappointed to find the dishes in the hot part of the self serve area were only just warm.

Great place, always a winner! main how many non vegetarian restaurants have a buffet salad bar with any main meal or even separate on its own it's fantastic value & very yummy. Shared my friends rump steak. They're very generous on the fries if that's your sorta thing ????
