We made reservations at the Rye for Mother’s Day brunch to celebrate. 2 out of 4 beverage orders arrived, had to go and asked about the missing order after 15 minutes after the initial beverage arrived. Had to wait for a while to order, was told because they were busy they are now not taking orders. We need to order at the Counter. Least to say we ordered but never received our meals. Left without eating- tired of waiting. What a big disappointment.

This restaurant was an appalling experience. The staff had no clue what they were doing. The waitress kept walking away from the table when we were ordering, the food took an hr to come out, one meal was missing after telling them a meal was missing it took another 20mins in which we were told they hadn't started making the food that was missed on the order. We ended up leaving having not received the order. None of the staff apologised and when asked for the manager they said they were not on today, when asked who was in charge the waiter said no one. We will never be coming back to this restaurant and will not be recommending to others. Disappointing is an understatement considering we have had great experiences with the other Rye cafe in braddon.

Nice and quick ordering, slow in order to receive food. They let us sample the beetroot and tumeric latte which was very nice! Poached Eggs with Hollandaise Sauce and Leek Peas was delicious. Dutch pancake nothing special, would not recommend. Coffee was not great either. All in all 3-4 Star

My friend and I ordered Softshell crab, it is tasty. Chips is super nice and crunchy. Coffe is is ok. Good cafe. Recommended.
